Visitors frequently praise the friendly and attentive staff, with many mentioning specific employees like Joanne, Shawn, Micah, Kennedy, Ellie, and Luce for their helpfulness and kindness. Some guests also enjoyed the unique style and comfortable beds. However, a significant complaint is that the hotel can be uncomfortably hot with thermostats that do not adjust the room temperature.

We stayed here from May 30-31. We left the room and walked the river, which was just outside the window. First night, 20 minutes of an unending gorgeous display of fireworks seemingly just yards from the window. I remember Joanne helping my fiancee, who asked a lot of questions. Joanne was bubbly, kind, wonderful, and perfect! Micah sent the visit over the top: I sang for an hour or so near the piano in the restaurant after it had just closed. Parking was right outside the lobby door. We walked to the Market Fair along the market and I sang there for about 2 hours as well. You can walk to the Pearl District and this other area, where they have a lot of cute shops and restaurants was just about two miles away. The room was perfect. We loved the shower. But, most important was the vibe of the hotel. You want to be there and it makes you so happy. I cannot recommend it more. It was so much fun! Thank you guys!!!! Great concept and venue.

This hotel was enticing with the unique advertising and fun theme. When we arrived, we were greeted by a really friendly guy in the front who helped us out. We got complimentary drinks which was nice. Shortly after, though, we became disappointed. The whole building is hot, and the thermostats dont adjust the room temp. We set it to 65 when we went to dinner, and it was still over 75 hours later. Speaking of going to dinner, we purchased the $25 parking pass that gives you a spot on site in one of their 2 lots. There were no spots left after we got back and there was a line of cars waiting. We realized they actually don’t limit parking passes—anyone can buy one. They have hundreds of rooms and less than 100 spots, yet they just allow guests to pay and hope for the best. You can ask for a refund, but that seems really backwards and scammy. Most people probably pay and never get a spot or a refund. The concept of the bedding being individual European duvets is really cool, but they only have one loose sheet under the duvets and no fitted sheet. Since the room is hot, the duvet is too much and you might need just a sheet. However, because theres no fitted sheet, you can’t lay under the loose sheet unless you want to be directly on the gross mattress protector. Just a poorly thought out design. Overall, the hotel feels dated and some things make it seem more run-down like missing room numbers, clutter, and tape showing in places. We never got our robes, which was a bummer and I had considered buying them after seeing them online. There is definitely some charm here and the cute theme and pet emphasis is cute. I just think some things need revamping and parking should definitely be limited to the number of spots available.

Update June 2026 What a great surprise! This hotel was great, we booked it late night as we weren't sure if we were staying in town or not, was able to check in late around 11pm and the front desk was available and friendly. The hotel gives you complimentary drinks that you can either get from the fridge or the bar which I thought was pretty unique, never seen that before. The room was very inviting and clean. Everything was wiped down and stocked, I like the ideas of those refillable shampoo, conditioner and body wash, don't have to worry about waste. The bed was comfortable and they had the individual duvet that are awesome to have. The hotel is in a pretty good location, right across the river downtown, so if you have the north or east facing rooms you would see that, if you have the interior rooms you're probably looking at the parking lot/ a tiny bit of the city buildings. You did have to pay for parking though, I believe it was $25 a night, not very secured just located on site. and there is also a Resort fee daily too $30 I think it was.
