Hôtel Rose

(Californians) ; Friendliest hotel I have been to in Portland. This hotel has been very attentive, caring, accommodating, relaxing, accessible, and chill! My dog was well tooken care of, anything I needed was at hand by the lovely staff at the front desk. I will definitely be back on my next trip to Portland.

The staff at this hotel are excellent. On multiple occasions they helped me out, including allowing me to extend for an extra night at a discounted rate when I got food poisoning, and delivering Gatorade when they heard I was not feeling well! The rooms are clean, and despite a parade happening outside the room was not too loud. I would definitely stay again.

Best location you could ever want! Quite literally walking distance to the waterfront, food cart pods, and many bars! We had many options of beautiful scenic views along with nightlife 💛 There is parking with elevators and safe parking lot. Very clean, cute and the concierge, Micah, was pleasant and knowledgeable! He made me feel at home and comfortable to ask any questions I had. Wonderful place, I’ll recommend to my friends and definitely be back! ♡ thank you Hotel Rose 🌹

Ive stayed here so frequently its not even funny. Its the most perfect location in the world. Its right next to 2 directions of red line and perfect for game-day. Beautiful and by the waterfront. The only thing thats stopping this hotel from being a part time residence is making the central cooling and heat functional. Still 5/5 staff are super friendly and helpful. Probably my favorite place to stay in the state.

Just amazing. The friendliness for dogs were great, I really wish I brought my dog. They have tons of stuff relating to dogs around. The service was good, no costs for getting stuff, they gave us free drinks and candy. Was super great, went for one night.

This is an amazing place to stay. The staff Micah and Joanne are very helpful and friendly. The rooms are cute and clean. Had a wonderful time and would definitely stay here again.

Light sleepers: BEWARE!!! Seriously, do NOT book here if you're a light sleeper. The duvets, towels, cookies, and welcome drinks are all great, but if you plan on sleeping, it isn't worth the money or headache. The level of noise is unreal. I've never been to hotel that had more street noise. We had 3 sound machines running all night and it still sounded like they were filming the Fast and the Furious outside. To make matters worse, my dog was freaking out due to the noise. I didn't get a wink of sleep, which put me in an awful position before driving to Seattle. Now, if you are one of those people that can sleep through anything, this hotel might be great for you. It's in the heart of Portland so you're close to everything. The park across the street is awesome. The people at the front desk are great (although I was told I'd have a dog bed in my room in 10 mins and it took almost 2 hours, but they were busy). This stay was the final hotel after a 4 day trip through the PNW and not only was it the smallest room, it was also the most expensive. At checkout they asked how things were and while I usually say okay, this time I told the truth and the very kind manager did try to make it right, so I appreciate his effort. However, I still didn't think it was enough for the awful experience. I will never stay again. I'll stick to my tried and true hotel in the outskirts of Portland where it's cheaper, quieter, has a pool, free breakfast, and free parking. I am only giving them a generous 3 stars bc the amenities are neat and the workers were very kind. The hotel needs to do more for soundproofing in general.

Love this hotel! The staff are so kind and helpful! I also love that I can bring my dog and they make him right at home with treats, a dog bed brought to the room, and an adorable bowl for him! Highly recommend staying here! The beds are comfy and the rooms feel so cozy and quiet with how close to everything you are.
