These classes are for anyone-- In the Musicality class, we will be going into depth about the sections of bachata music and how to listen for the changes and respond to them. In this class we learn to dance with the music rather than on top of it.
In the Beginner Bachata class we will learn the fundamental basic steps, hip movement, frame, partnering and history of the dance. No partner or experience necessary.

Who are we?
Our Dance Studio was started to create a safer, more accessible dance space specifically for queer and neurodivergent folks. Allies always welcome. My name is a.b. and i am your dance teacher! I use they/them pronouns and always use gender neutral language when i teach. I make a point to ask pronouns and names at the beginning of class so that i and other students can address each other correctly. with that said, no one is required to share any information they are not comfortable with & no one is required to speak at all if they don't want to. The only rules in my class are to respect each other & focus on your own dancing. Students can dance in either role or switch lead and follow throughout their classes (which i encourage). As a teacher, i am very patient, encouraging, and do my best to adapt to many different learning styles. I am also ALWAYS open to feedback as i want to continually improve and make my classes
