Enjoyed a one night stay with check in on 5/26/26 and check out on 5/27/26 while visiting FDR Home, Presidential Library & Museum and Vanderbilt National Historic Sites. We stayed in one of the small "Rustic Rooms." This family run inn is exceptional and our stay was just delightful. The room, while small, was cozy, comfortable, impeccably clean and included everything needed for our stay. I would not recommend the smaller rustic room for a larger couple; but my husband at 160 pounds and myself at 125 pounds found the double bed knotty pine room to be quite suitable for the two of us. You might, otherwise, consider one of the larger rooms with twin or king beds. The Coffee Shop was so very convenient and immaculate with literally gleaming polished floors. Continental breakfast included a selection of cold cereals, muffins, doughnuts, bagels & cream cheese, a fresh fruit (bananas today) juice, coffee, tea, and hot chocolate to energize the start of your day. The only suggestion I might offer be added is a selection of prepackaged oatmeal packets for those who prefer a hot cereal. I enjoyed my oatmeal which I happened to take with me. If you are in the area, we would highly recommend Roosevelt Inn of Hyde Park for your stay. We would not hesitate to stay, again! Thank you, Roosevelt Inn, for a lovely five-star stay at your very fine accommodation!

The Roosevelt Inn is cute, clean, and has one of the comfiest beds I have ever slept in! Very central to the FDR Library and Vanderbilt Mansion! Plus our welcome from Teddy Roosevelt was amazing 😍

Stayed in the 2 room suite with my family. We were residents of the area for many years and were traveling back for a long weekend. The Roosevelt Inn of Hyde Park was a perfect location, clean and simple accomodations. We would stay here again!

Our third stay in Hyde Park. Stayed at this hotel due to availability and proximity to Culinary Institute. The rooms generally looked older but have some updates. I dint mind older or well used rooms for the price but cleanliness is an issue there. The floors were dirty, hairs on the furniture and bedding. When I got out of the shower if I stepped of the towel I had grit and dirt on my feet. Temperature was also an issue. It was fall and the temps outside were 50's to upper 60's. Our rooms were very warm. The thermostat in the room is locked out. There is a mini window AC unit in the window so you cant open the window. We had to run the AC all night to try to cool the room. It was a waste of energy and barely cooled it to a comfortable temperature. The shower looked to be redone but they neglected to put any type of shelf or trays in anywhere. You had to set your soap and shampoo on the floor. The walls are very thin, they actually mention noise issues in a placard in each room. I could feel the headboard and wall shake every time the occupants in the next room shut the door. We had great stays at the other hotels in the area, would recommend trying them first before staying here. It is convenient to things in the town but that was about the end of the pluses. Edit to respond to to your response: we did add another room and we're thankful to get one as all the hotels were busy. My review was not affected by that. I will send some photos if you like.

My friend and I enjoyed our stay for a few days in September at the Roosevelt Inn for a few days, while I was attending a program at the Omega Institute in Rhinebeck which is only a 20 minute drive. We booked directly on their website. The price was affordable and a great value. The rustic rooms are very clean and comfortable. The property is very safe and well maintained. Free continental breakfast included is in a quaint style coffee shop. The plentiful included, bagels, freshly baked muffins and donuts, cereal, banannas, coffee, tea and juice. The Inn is centrallly located only 1 mile from the Vanderbilt Manions and the Roosevelt Home and Presidential Library. It has been family owned and operated since the 1970s. The mother and daughter take pride in the Inn and manage the property very well. We will definitely return to this beautiful Inn.

Lovely motel centrally located. The room was clean and comfortable. We opened windows in the front and back, so we had a springtime breeze. One bonus was that the walkway has chairs and overhang. We enjoyed sitting outside reading about FDR while drinking coffee.
