What reviewers say

Many guests praise the friendly and accommodating staff, with specific mentions of Allison, Shantel, and Ashley. However, common complaints include issues with the building's age, lack of an elevator, and noise disturbances, though some guests contradict this, stating they couldn't hear highway traffic. Other negative feedback points to maintenance problems and unprofessional management.

The location is just off the highway and you hear the traffic all night, but that's a welcome distraction from the running, slamming doors, screams and other various noises after 11. Then after getting a restful 2 hours of sleep, we headed for the free breakfast. Bagels(no cream cheese), eventually there were boiled eggs, called scrambled but we had to ask for forks. The turkey sausage patties were good, once they put them out. All in all,it's ok,just ok. Oh and there were no kids anywhere. So they weren't running up and down the halls.

- No elevator, two floors - Flush doesn't work... we had to manually open the lid to release water - Weird noise/eerie sound with the shower - Super old building with an old smell walking in - Dim lights dark rooms Overall functional but nothing more, don't expect too much

Please stay away if you can. You have carry luggage up stairs. No elevators. Girl at desk very unfriendly.

Excellent service. I think this hotel deserves more stars; it's very clean and organized, and everyone is very friendly. I would definitely return.

Absolutely horrible experience. You’ve been warned. *DO NOT GO HERE!!* The general manager, Shawnte, was yelling over me and my girlfriend in the hallway where other guests could clearly hear her after one of her employees made a booking error. If that’s how she treats customers, I can’t even imagine how horrible it is to work for her. Completely unacceptable. The room itself had no heat, so we had to sleep in extra clothes just to get through the night. That alone should have signaled what was to come, and from a hospitality standpoint is totally disgraceful. I could have slept outside and gotten a better night’s sleep—the bears out there probably would have been nicer too. Then comes the breakfast. The eggs were watery, the bacon was like stiff cardboard, the apple and orange juice were so watered down they legally don’t even qualify as juice anymore, the coffee looked and tasted like it hadn’t been changed in days, and somehow even the bread was stale and inedible. Yes—the BREAD. That’s how bad this place is. And after all that, I was accused of taking “two breakfasts” (which, by the way, are supposed to be complimentary). Meanwhile, I barely even touched the “breakfast” because of how completely inedible it was, and now I’m being accused of taking more of it? Riiight. What, because I got a coffee at checkout? Coffee is supposed to be available throughout your entire stay—so I could have gotten 45 coffees if I really wanted to. The whole thing was just ridiculous and unnecessary. I’ve stayed at plenty of hotels and have never experienced this level of petty disrespect toward a guest. The entire situation—from the condition of the room to how my stay was handled thereafter—was completely unprofessional and frankly awful. It’s also worth noting that after reading other reviews here, this definitely isn’t a one off situation. There is a clear pattern of management deflecting responsibility and shifting blame instead of taking accountability and actually resolving the issues. Some of the responses even look like copy and paste templates that weren’t even properly edited, which should tell you exactly how seriously guest concerns are being taken here. I will absolutely never come back to this place. Not if you paid me. Not even if you paid me twice. I don’t expect any accountability in a response from a place like this—likely only more deflection, gaslighting, and blame shifting. But trust me when I tell you that there are much nicer hotels in the area, so please do yourself a favor and SKIP THIS ONE. If I could give 0 stars, I would. EDIT: This response is exactly the kind of deflection I was referring to with my original review. You’re presenting a version of events as fact despite not actually being present when we arrived. We spoke directly with one of your staff members when we were checking in and clearly asked him everything regarding our stay and the charges that were in order. I even signed a contract for the amount of money and duration of the stay. If that information was incorrect, that’s a failure in your staff training and communication—not something that should later be turned around on the guest. The claim that I took “two breakfasts” is completely false and unfounded. I barely touched the breakfast on account of the quality, so being accused of taking more than I should have is both offensive and completely unnecessary. As for the interaction with management—whom I assume is you—I stand by exactly what I said. It was not handled professionally, and it was uncomfortable enough that it stood out in a shared space where others could hear it. You stand by your version of events, but I have no reason to go out of my way and take time out of my day to misrepresent my experience. The room had no heat when I arrived, the interaction with management at check out was totally unprofessional, and the follow up response here only reinforces the lack of accountability I described in my initial review. But that’s what reviews are for, right? So future guests can read both sides and decide for themselves.

I think the lady at the desk was named, Allison. She was a ROCK STAR! She was so friendly and welcoming. She made checking in pleasant.

Shantel and Ashley were so accommodating and amazing!! My dad is in the hospital and due to a medical emergency I had to check out earlier than expected. They worked with me and were so understanding and kind. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone!
