Zen River Retreat is a small set of guest cabins on Lords Lake Loop Road, in the woods about 4 km northwest of Quilcene village toward the Big Quilcene River. Google lists six reviews, all 5.0, and little else, so check the cabin layout, rates and check-in details on the website or by phone before booking. It works as a quiet forest base for Mount Walker and Olympic National Forest trails. You'll need a car. It's a mainstream place, not a gay venue. Quilcene has no gay bar; Port Townsend, about 40 minutes north, has the nearest Pride.
