Sequim Bay Lodge

The towels provided were used, filthy. The sink was leaking and gross with hair in it. The jacuzzi was not usable. Toilet flush was barely working. Door to the balcony was stuck. To top it all off, the key to our room was not working and we had to run to their office in the middle of night, in cold to get it fixed when all I wanted to do was rest in the hotel after a long day. The appliances in rooms are extremely dated (not in a cool, vintage way). The worst hotel I ever stayed at in my life. Wouldn’t recommend it to my worst enemy.

Very disappointed with this hotel stay. The rooms did not have proper locks, which made us feel unsafe. The bathrooms were in very bad condition, and the towels looked dirty and poorly maintained. The overall service was terrible, and there was no staff available to help when needed. The balcony had moss and looked completely neglected. There was no jacuzzi as advertised. The experience became so uncomfortable that we ended up sleeping in the car. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

This hotel is not your run of the mill corporate franchise. This hotel has true history rooted along the renowned “101”. This place has a nostalgic vibe that seems to envelop you in a serene peace, if you let it! Perched just a mile from John Wayne marina it was one of the most amazing morning walks i ever took! Of course with any building thats dated, the aesthetic could take some getting used to if you crave the more modern amenities, but if you dont mind then this place is perfect!!! With pricing thats hard to beat and the staff was so wonderful!! Definitely will stay again!!!

Who this is for... someone needing a clean even if dated place to stay for a quick overnight at a great price. Someone who is traveling with pets and needs pet friendly rooms. Who it is NOT for... someone looking for Instagram perfection or wow factors. Truly just a bargain place to stay that has mostly old school style interiors and some wear and tear, but the price is phenomenal. Was in town showing properties to family and literally just needed a place to sleep. Rooms had adequate hot water, microwave and a small fridge which suited me since I had brought some food from home. The pool is defunct and some lovely frogs will sing to you at night. An open field is adjacent for dog walking. Dont allow off leash though as you're just off the highway.

Paid to extend my stay and the owner tossed us out a day early for no valid reason.

i was looking for cheap and last minute and this fit the bill. the person working the counter was nice and so was the person i talked to on the phone. there was a mosquito eater in my room but idk cus if it's there it's probably killing bugs. the frogs outside are loud at night if you care about that kind of thing, but there was no noises from any neighbors. i brought my own pillow and the ones here don't seem like the best. the mattress itself was fine, nothing to write home about, and yes the decor js outdated but honestly it makes it feel kinda homey. my main thing i didn't like is that the room has a strong scent. i can't tell if it's musk or sweat but it oddly smells like frosted doughnuts. except not in a good way. if you're in room 108 you'll see what i mean.

Good price. Plug in the tub didn't work. I needed a bath to soak my knee.

Rooms are very outdated but they are what you expect for such a cheap price. Service was good, I slept ina little late and the front desk had no problem giving me a little extra time to check out. Overall not a bad experience if you are working on a tight budget.

I booked a pet friendly room which was only an additional $20; checking in and out was very easy and the front desk individuals were nice. The hotel is very out of date and they put me in a room surrounded by people that are living in the other rooms which you can just tell by the outside but also some weird activity was going on with the people staying there; lots of random people in and out. My partner and myself were awoken several times during the night by the upstairs neighbor with big bangs and the beds were rock hard. The room smelled like cigarettes and the walls were dirty. I thought it was odd that they put me in one of the other buildings room, my partner had been staying there due to working nearby and I was coming to visit for the night and he was out in the main building and he said he had no issues in that part of the hotel.

Its a good deal if you need somewhere in a pinch. The rooms are clean and pretty comfortable. They don't have any of here after 11 so you shouid be here before then. Overall not a bad place for the money.

"A peaceful spot with so much potential" ​I really enjoyed my stay here. It’s got that classic, old-school lodge soul that’s getting harder to find. The property is huge—17 acres of woods right on the Olympic Discovery Trail—and it’s incredibly quiet and peaceful. ​The rooms are surprisingly spacious (way bigger than your average motel) and the staff were genuinely kind. It is an older building, and you can tell it’s just waiting for a little bit of updating to truly shine, but it has so much potential to be the best spot in Sequim. For the price and the location, it’s a high-value gem. I’ll definitely be back.
