The Longleaf Hotel and Lounge
Visitors frequently praise the hotel's cool vibe, friendly staff, and enjoyable bar area with outdoor seating. However, some guests express disappointment with the property's value for money, finding it comparable to a basic motel rather than a boutique or luxury hotel, and mention issues with thin walls.

A very nice hotel in the heart of Raleigh. Self-parking on premises is a big plus and convenience for a downtown hotel. The personnel is friendly and professional. Rooms are reasonably priced. We had an overall very good experience.
Really enjoyed my stay here over Memorial Day weekend. The beds were comfortable, rooms clean and cute, and the hotel is in walking distance of the downtown area.
Update: to be clear, all the good things I have to say below are about Sarah and the staff who worked the event, they were wonderful. I do not have good things to say about what the process was like communicating and getting answers during the planning process, and especially nothing good to say about how it was handled when the Longleaf was hacked a few months ago (posting today since now I’m receiving spam emails from the hack, and the staff has been dismissive at best, as I reached out about it, screenshots below). As someone who was having an event there, and had reserved a room block bringing thousands of dollars to the Longleaf, asking for clarity on what info was leaked, if my guests needed to be concerned about their financial information, etc, is completely appropriate. — We had our pre-wedding henna party at the LongLeaf Lounge & Patio this weekend and it was absolutely perfect. Sarah did a great job responding and sharing info and coordinating, and everyone who was bartending and working the event was equally friendly and helpful. Thank you for being part of our weekend! Everyone who stayed at the LongLeaf this weekend had great things to say - they even made me a perfect decaf almond milk latte as I was leaving before 6am to get ready on wedding morning!
Hey! We found this cool 😎 Retro place to stay that's a short walking distance from the North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences. VERY CLEAN! Bed and Pillows REALLY comfy! They don't have a breakfast BUT Wow the Complementary Coffee is REALLY GOOD! There is a Cocktail Lounge too! 🍹And ALL the Staff SUPER NICE! Shout out to Hannah and Olivia! Thank you so much! We REALLY Enjoyed our stay! We WILL be back! 🤗
We really enjoyed our stay at the Longleaf. We will definitely be back.
