The service is amazing

Food has never disappointed and the staff is always great. It has a variety of seating types in warm weather that are nice. It has a unique interior, overall fun place!

One of our friends was denied entry because she only had her Maryland Drivers license and college student ID, but since she didn’t have a credit card as well the bouncer didn’t let her in. He was very rude as well, and it felt very suspicious and like a scam. Later a different bouncer was there so we tried to go back, this time with credit cards as well just in case, however this bouncer was very drunk and and seemed like he couldn’t do the math. He also kept getting names mixed up, and at one point even brought some of us back to another person to check our IDs since apparently he couldn’t. After that we could still hear him grumbling about how he didn’t think we were old enough (even though again, we are all in our mid-twenties and had valid Maryland IDs) and it was very odd and unwelcoming. It honestly seemed like they didn’t want any younger people there. Then, when the original bouncer saw the friend he initially turned away at the bathroom, he started screaming at her to leave in an extremely aggressive manner, so we all did and do not plan on coming back. Really sad because our group of mid-twenty year olds have come year every year on vacation since we turned 21. I’ve never been at a bar where the bouncers acted so shady, and the drinks were so inconsistent from one person to the next even with the exact same drink.

If you want to be harassed by intoxicated bouncers, get inconsistent drinks, and a trashy atmosphere, then go to the purple parrot. A friend of mine presented valid ID and was denied entry for no reason. Later when arriving with a different bouncer, let’s just say it was either his first day on the job or too drunk to do it properly. My ID shows me with very little facial hair (I have grown out a small beard by now) and the bouncer looks at me and says “it’s always hard to tell a fake id with a beard”. Ya, it might be hard if you can’t see straight. Even if the bouncers are nice to you, the bartender made our group the same drink, and got different results with each drink. Save your money and do NOT go to this joke of a bar.

The bouncers were intoxicated and completely unable to preform their jobs. My friend group came here with all valid IDs and the bouncers were too drunk to know what an ID from Maryland, the neighboring state, looks like. My friend who brought her drivers license was told that she also had to show a credit card to get in rather than her student ID, which is beyond suspicious. We came back through a different bouncer (with her card this time) but were later kicked out because of the first bouncer's power trip. It was an absolutely unwelcoming environment; I've never been treated this terribly at any other establishment. Don't waste your time or money.

The bouncers were genuinely on something when I was there. He couldn’t read an ID to save his life. Thought middle names were first names, and gave us a hard time when he was looking at the wrong card. My friend was denied entry despite being 22 and having multiple forms of ID to show. A different bouncer let her in after verifying her ID. Then she was harassed by the original bouncer when he saw her waiting in line at the bathroom. They also held back the literally only black guy in our group for further identification which was beyond insane. Don’t waste your money

The bouncers were on a crazy power trip. My friend (who is absolutely of age and had her ID) was denied entry for no good reason. When she tried to get in later, the bouncer let her in, but was later spotted by the original bouncer and kicked out (again, for no good reason). The bouncer also asked for two bank cards in addition to my ID and accused me of having cards with two different names when it was actually just my middle name. The bartenders also have a bad attitude and make drinks inconsistently. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE

Very unique place. Just stopped in for beer and wings for lunch . Special on Tuesdays, 1 dollar wings. Wings were good, I had crab soup good but very small. Wife had the arugula salad, very good. Unique bar. Wings were good

My waiter was awful,I asked to speak to manager a guy named chandler came up and was awful as well, very terrible attitude wouldn’t listen just ridiculous! the only nice person there was a security guard named Brad!
