Avenue Inn & Spa

The amenities at the Avenue Inn & Spa were plentiful. Free Wi-Fi, breakfast, hot tub, wine & cheese, indoor pool, cookies, and sauna were a few of the amenities. However, the floors in the rooms were not as clean as I expected. The floors in the common areas were decent, and the atmosphere was cozy. Updates to a handheld shower head and a full length mirror in the rooms along with luggage carts on each floor at the Avenue II would be nice. Overall, I enjoyed my stay (close proximity to the beach and one free parking spot helped). I would return to stay in the main building. The staff was excellent, courteous and friendly.

Nice place with free parking, free light breakfast, free wine & cheese and, free cookies in the evening. Various rooms but they are done well. It's a block from the beach with restaurants and shops all around. This is the 3rd year in a row that we have stayed here. Pretty good deal all around.

We have stayed at many different Rehoboth hotels, but this was by far our favorite. Everything was just perfect. Staff was so friendly and engaging, the room was beautiful and comfortable, the decor was gorgeous. We will definitely be staying here again!

Great place, great atmosphere. Most of the staff are super helpful and inviting. Lou is the best, he's always nice and friendly to everyone he meets! Definitely recommend this place.

Me my wife and two kids stayed at this hotel and it was the best experience we have ever had at any hotel. The location is prime! A 20 second shuttle ride away from the boardwalk. The staff were are super friendly and genuinely courteous. The breakfast staff were awesome with my 1 year old who was being fuzzy they were able to calm her down. The shuttle driver Lou is the best! He makes the ride fun and always has great music from the 70's!!!! We stayed in a double bed room and it was very spacious for my family of 4. The balcony is spacious and private. The breakfast is very good with multiple options. There is complementary coffee in the lobby throughout the day (and ice cold water). Also complementary cookies and milk, as well as wine and cheese at night. These are very nice gestures by the hotel. The cookies by the way are bomb! The entire hotel is by far the cleanest and best smelling hotels we have stayed at. Every public bathroom, pool area, changing rooms are immaculately cleaned. The pool and spa area is nice and deck area offers plenty of seating for chilling. We have been blown away by these hotel and we will definitely be back!

This hotel feels like our home away from home in town. We come back every year, and this year was no exception. Even though we had booked our three-night stay more than a month in advance, we decided to extend our vacation by three additional nights. The staff went above and beyond to help us make it happen. We had to switch rooms during the process, but they handled everything smoothly and were incredibly helpful every step of the way. Every single staff member was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely kind. Their hospitality is one of the main reasons we keep coming back. We’re already looking forward to returning again later this summer!

We have been coming back to Avenue Inn for 3 years now, and we love the place. It is a great distance to the beach, boardwalk and Funland, and there is a free golf cart shuttle run by awesome Mr Lou, who can bring you and all your stuff back and forth if you need to. The hotel provides free beach towels (the thick fluffy kind!) and beach chairs, and Lou has a special rack on his golf cart for them, so no long hauling required. The rooms are very clean although they can be somewhat on the small side for our family of 5. The indoor heated pool, steam room and hot tub provides great fun on a rainy day. The staff is very friendly and service minded, and my kids talk a lot about the free cookies and milk in the lobby every day at 8pm sharp (snooze and you loose!). Cheese and wine is decent but dont expect a gourmet spread! Breakfast does the job, although dont expect to be blown away, but there should be something for everyone - pancakes/french toast, sausages/bacon, omelets/scrambled eggs, cereal, oatmeals, bagels, juice etc. There is all day coffee/tea available in the lobby but I wish they had hot chocolate powder for the kids too (tip: bring your own). Onsite gym is decent and clean, and you can get your leg or arm day in with some cardio mix. Like other reviews, I will say the pine scent in the hallways can be a little overwhelming, but there is nothing in the rooms. We haven’t eaten at the onsite restaurant ‘The Blue Hen’ because we come with kids, and it’s not a kid friendly restaurant. All in all this is a great spot for families, couples, friends or whatever your travel may looks like

Had an amazing experience at this establishment. From the ladies in front who went above and beyond for a small misunderstanding that can happen to anyone and even gave us souvenirs when they didn’t have to really showed their amazing customer service. Also the gentleman in the front desk was really nice and gave us water bottles when we were really thirsty so the team all around is incredible. The room and amenities are top notch, you will definitely be satisfied with what they offer. The location is also clutch as everything from the beach, food, drinks and fun are all a walk away. Im happy that I got to celebrate a special occasion here.

Can't say enough about the two wonderful guys who run the front desk, John and Bret. My schedule, and my needs, changed while I enjoying my stay and they went above and beyond to accommodate. They were both ready with suggestions, solutions and smiles. We also enjoyed the fast turn around of housekeeping in the mornings as well as the friendly staff at breakfast. Norma was so attentive, friendly and put a smile on my daughter's face everyday of our stay. This hotel is not oceanfront but it truly didn't matter because of how centrally located it is. Short walk to the beach, boardwalk, restaurants and shops. They also provided towels and beach chairs everyday. We will definitely be back.

i went to this hotel with my husband me and my two little girl 4 years ago 2022 i stayed there one time and that same weekend there a “larger group” that was teenagers and i had two little girls and we called and ask to get a room for the 4th this year and he ask for are name and we gave it and he said sorry you are on are do not rent list we ask why and he said to us if you was with the “larger group” that was disruptive that’s the reason. they singled us we did not do nothing wrong we was not with the large group we actually wrote a nice review. it’s very hurtful to hear that we was not allowed back that is discrimination singling someone out like that and after telling them we did not do anything and was not apart of the group they wouldn’t do nothing about all i can say is don’t go to the Avenue if you don’t want to get discriminate!!!!!!!
