About this place Galleria Bar

The Galleria Bar is part of the K Street gay complex that makes Sacramento's Midtown neighbourhood the most concentrated gay bar district in Northern California outside San Francisco. The venue functions as a neighbourhood local within the complex — less nightclub-oriented than Badlands or Faces, more rooted in the daily rhythms of the community that lives and works in Midtown. The bar format is inclusive in the traditional sense: you can arrive early on a weekday for a drink after work as easily as you can find it busy on a Saturday night. The K Street location puts it in immediate proximity to the other bars, making it easy to incorporate into a night that takes in multiple venues on the same block. For regulars who have been part of the Sacramento gay scene for years, the Galleria represents the neighbourhood-bar anchor of the complex — the place that keeps the community connected between the bigger nights at Badlands and Faces.

If you like nightclubs, you need to check this place out! - Unparalleled decor - Really cool DJ - The manager is super nice and helpful with anything you need. - Security everywhere I celebrated my birthday there and loved it. They give you several gifts depending on the number of friends you bring. It's really expensive, but I believe that's to avoid fights and drunkenness among work colleagues. The bartenders aren't that nice, and the last time I went, one of them mixed up my card with another girl's, so I paid her bill without knowing. But then they called me and didn't make me pay again, and everything was understood.

I went through an embarrassing situation due to an error on my order slip. During the short time I was at the bar, I didn't consume anything, but the barista mistakenly linked orders to my order slip that I hadn't placed. When I went to the cashier, I disputed the orders. They called the barista over to "identify" me and confirm that he really hadn't served me, which made me completely uncomfortable, and they even asked me more than once if I really hadn't consumed anything, even though I insisted I hadn't. In the end, they didn't charge me, but they didn't even apologize for the situation or the barista's mistake. I felt exposed and discriminated against for a mistake that wasn't mine. Improve your organization in this regard so as not to embarrass anyone else.

I've been going to this club for over 3 years, and what impresses me most is the impeccable service from beginning to end. From the moment you enter, the staff always greets everyone politely and efficiently, making the experience a great start. Throughout the night, the employees are attentive, quick, and helpful, maintaining a pleasant and comfortable atmosphere. Even on the way out, the service remains excellent, demonstrating care and respect for customers. Furthermore, the atmosphere is very lively, well-organized, and has an incredible energy, which makes me continue to frequent and recommend the place.

The service from the rude blonde receptionist was terrible, the place gives you the entrance fee based on your appearance, not the time slot as shown in the image sent via Instagram. For the price charged (around $250) there are better parties with advance tickets, no lines and excellent service. I don't recommend it for those over 30, the crowd is much younger.
