About this place Camp Bar
Camp Bar opened in 2007 at 490 N Robert St, on the north edge of downtown, in the space of the former gay bar Trixx, and for years it was St Paul's gay cabaret and piano bar. Today the room mostly runs as Laugh Camp Comedy Club, with stand-up headliners at weekends plus trivia and open mics. Its own calendar shows no regular drag at the moment, though it still books LGBTQ+ nights such as the Pride Comedy Cavalcade in June 2026.
