About this place Bronze Bird

Located in the lobby of the Westin hotel, Bronze Bird is an inclusive spot in San Diego, California, perfect for a meal. Visitors have praised the menu for its ability to satisfy a wide range of palates, with specific mentions of how the chevre and pumpkin ravioli offer a delightful combination of sweet, salty, and creamy textures. The salmon in citrus hollandaise has also been highlighted as exceptionally tasty. The atmosphere is noted as feeling like a sophisticated hotel lobby, making it a suitable setting for business dinners or casual visits. While some found it to be the hotel's breakfast spot, others enjoyed the quality of the food, even during breakfast hours. Despite a minor hiccup with a group reservation, the overall sentiment points to a place with great food and a pleasant environment, garnering a strong 4.5/5 Google rating from over 200 reviews.

Despite having a group reservation, the table wasn't ready. The table we were asked to wait at was dirty. The food was mid.

Amazing restaurant. A menu designed to satisfy anyone from a 10 year old to a 73 year old. It is in the lobby of the Westin hotel so if you're coming from somewhere else there isn't an entrance from the outside so now you won't have to walk around the outside looking for it.

I'm a meat eater, through and through, but after seeing some rave reviews of the chevre and pumpkin ravioli, I wanted to try it. I'm so glad I did. Sweet, salty, creamy, chewy...all the flavors and textures just worked together perfectly. And the portion size was just right. I started with the chips and guac, and washed it all down with a perfectly made Maker's old fashioned. Very, very satisfying meal, and I didn't even need to leave the hotel. The place could use a bit more decor and atmosphere, but that's a trivial thing. 9/10 would definitely recommend.

We had a business dinner here. 6 of us. It's set up nicely for this purple. We sat at high table with power outlets in the middle tho we didn't need them. Atmosphere felt like you were in a nice hotel lobby. Which is exactly where you are. Service was prompt and attentive. Food was very good. Guacamole and chips for appetizers (good). I had ribeye for my meal (excellent). Pizza, tacos, burgers, fish & chips, salmon tried by others. Everyone really enjoyed their meals. All enjoyed their beer and cocktails too. Nice bar setup. Certainly a great place for a business dinner and I would say a nice place to stop in for any meal.

This place is just the hotel place where breakfast is served to guests. The food was great, but coffee mugs literally being set on tables around is for the breakfast buffet around us. Probably wouldn’t have gone if we realised this beforehand. Nothing wrong with a restaurant inside a hotel but this was just the buffet area dressed up as a restaurant.
