Amazing place for LGBTQIA+ youth and allies to authentically be themselves. A safe space with lots of support for youth and their parents.

although we have not been able to attend for a while This center has was the beginning of a amazing journey in finding who I really am. I do not want to inform of my name for security reasons but I met my fiancee here , he proposed to me here.(MANATEE LOCATION) This place is very speshile to us. Never had any issues. Extremely professional and accepting. Staff are supportive. It's a great place to come out. Learn about others and there story. Thay have snaks and drinks ALLWAYS a available. Sometimes even clothing. , Condoms. Library, art center , all gender bathrooms. And for the first time ever Thay also have the new ALSO KIDS AGES 10 - 12 YEARSOLD pre teen groups specifically geared towards yong kids who are suffering in silence or just to have fun and explore the community.

Incredibly helpful staff always willing to give LGBTQIA+ Youth a place to be themselves and just chill. They’re very helpful if you’re questioning. There’s always snacks, games and really chill people to talk to. The talent show on Fridays are absolutely worth going to. Overall an amazing place.

ALSO Youth is an incredible organization committed to LGBTQ+ affirmation within the youth community of Sarasota & Manatee Counties. They offer fantastic resources for youth needing a safe place to turn. I absolutely recommend not only utilizing the tools they offer, but supporting their growth in our community.

I went to ALSO for a few years in high school. It was absolutely amazing for me!! The staff was incredibly supportive and loving. We were like a little family of people who didn't fit in. It was the one place I could be myself. Thank you ALSO ❤️
