Beautiful hotel in downtown. We chose it to be near the cruise port and pike place market. Staff was extremely professional and very friendly. Rooms are very comfortable. There are many places to eat and visit nearby and a very nice restaurant off the lobby. It's also very secure with room key operated elevators.
Really terrible and rude staff at the front concierge.
We absolutely loved our stay here. We had a Monte Carlo suite and it was spacious, spotless, well appointed and extremely comfortable. The staff are professional, friendly and welcoming and all the public areas are lovely. The hotel bar is great, we didn't eat in the restaurant so can't comment on that. The location is excellent, handy for everything we wanted to do. Overall a wonderful hotel, thoroughly recommended.
I was not impressed by this hotel. The hotel looks nice and clean. They have a basic gym. Valet parking is 75 which outrageous and don’t offer any self service parking. What’s seriously lacking is the service. They don’t communicate with you at all. I have stayed at less superior hotels where their communication with their guest is exceptional. Overall it’s an average hotel. I will not be returning here.
I wish I could give them a below 0 review! I deal with hotels very often! I will add names once I get everything worked out with my notes! I called to do a credit card authorization! I called 6 times because my card still wasn’t charged! Including emails so once they got there no issues! I was told it was taken care of! I get a call 6 hours later! A hotel worker very unprofessional telling me several things wrong with the reservation! In front of the hotel guest! He stated the rate was going to be $100 more only on a recorded line! Also, told me the manager didn’t work that day! The one I had already spoke with serval times! After guest checked in at night I called back to discuss my concerns! I was told on this call that the reservation was going to cost 1,000 more! I promise! After hours on the phone she said we can refund you and tell your guest to go somewhere else late at night! Who would do that? I’m going to call and tell them to leave or pay an unexpected amount? You know I was forced to pay it! Honestly I’m so upset and not so much the money situation. The fact that it was supposed to be handled way before guest arrived and the unprofessional staff acting out in front of the guest! Saying we are going to do this and name change this! I’m so upset beyond! I will write names and update once I get everything organized! I’m just so frustrated right now!
Stayed at the Kimpton Hotel Monaco Seattle and had a fantastic experience. The hotel combines unique design, comfort, and outstanding service in the heart of downtown Seattle. The location is perfect — within walking distance of Pike Place Market, the waterfront, and many great restaurants and attractions. The staff was professional, welcoming, and always ready to help. The rooms are stylish, clean, and very comfortable. If you’re looking for a boutique hotel with character, excellent service, and a prime downtown location, this is a great choice. Highly recommended!
