About this place Social Outreach Seattle

Social Outreach Seattle (SOSea) is an LGBTQ+ organization in Seattle’s Capitol Hill, tackling advocacy, community support, and social justice for the region's queer population. It’s not a bar, not a club, but a hub for addressing systemic inequalities. SOSea uses social media, video, photography, and editorial content to get its message out. If you're in Seattle and want to move beyond the usual nightlife—maybe you're looking to volunteer, learn about local activism, or find support—this group offers real ways to connect. They believe in working together to solve problems. For anyone curious about Seattle's LGBTQ+ community beyond the dance floor, SOSea is a good place to start. Their emphasis on social justice makes them a useful resource for visitors who want to understand and support what's happening locally. Check their website to see what they're working on and how to get involved.

I love this program. They have helped so many people grow, and they have helped me and had my back while I accomplished so many things. Within the time that I've been with them, they've got me housing , they've got me where I need to be, and every employee, counselor and caseworker over the years has impacted my life for the better.

My daughter has presently been dealing with a counselor with reach for just under 2 years and to my wife and I's horror this so calledcouncelor has sabataged EVERY SINGLE opportunity to get help in any programs. She simply doesn't even show up to work and has caused this family an enormous amount of unnecessary grief by lieing about virtually everything. This counselor Ev** has literally missed 9 out of ten appointments. No one calls her out for her deleriction of duties. It's obscene, grievously hurtful and has caused an enormous amount of harm to my daughter and ultimately my whole family. We are relatively new to this state in which she (the counselor) knows this. Hence she tells us nothing but the same script. She was prepared to go to school, and ready for some counciling to contend with this woman's insane abuse of power. Further more if this isn't addressed and made right we are more than willing to take this grievous indifference this Evonne has treated our daughter with and take it to a higher level because she has absolutely lied every step of the way. It's disgraceful. Her life matters and with that neglectful behavior coming from this so called professional your going to be held into account for the phycological damage you have done.
