Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Springfield, OH

Pur baby was sleeping on the bed and a bug was crawling on him. We left roght away. Didn't offer a refund another room nothing.

My daughter and her husband were ripped off here and charged $500.00 for a smoking fee, because the hotel said a sensor went off. My daughter, her husband or their daughter have NEVER smoked. I would NEVER stay at this hotel.

Just stayed at this location in Springfield, Ohio. I received a receipt with my correct payment for the stay. After checking out, they charged us an extra $586.25 (double the amount of our entire stay!) because a sensor went off in the room, unbeknownst to us. I called to get it removed because no one in our party smokes and we were literally only there to sleep, as we were in town for my father’s 80th birthday. They told me it was automatic and there was nothing they could do. This is a terrible system and very poor service. I won’t be staying at ANY Country Inn and Suites ever again. If anyone is looking to stay here, I would reconsider. Who knows what they’ll charge you for after you check out. In response to your comment, since I am unable to reply directly, I want to clarify that I did willingly sign the document because we do not smoke or vape, and I had no reason to be concerned about a policy that we fully complied with. During our stay, the only thing we did in the room was warm up a piece of pizza. We were away from the hotel the entire day attending a birthday party and were only in the room to sleep. It only takes a little research to find out that yes, using microwaves can trip this sensor, as well as blow dryers, hairsprays and aerosol sprays, two of which were also used while we were there. I respectfully dispute the claim that we caused any smoking-related issue or violation. If your equipment detected something, then there appears to be another possible explanation, such as a malfunctioning sensor, faulty microwave or another source such as those listed above that set it off. However, it is incorrect to place responsibility on us for something we did not do.

Do not stay here. They have bed bugs.

I went for a 3 night stay for a conference. After reading reviews (and further confirmed by a relative), I chose not to stay on the south end of Springfield. While this hotel is a little more expensive than the south side ones, it's not expensive by any stretch of the imagination. It's pretty averagely priced. The beds were clean. No weird smells. The bathroom was clean. It was quiet at night. I really had zero issues. I didn't really talk to the staff much, so hard to say if it was "great" or not. The breakfast was typical, but good. I had some every day. The only real issue is the coffee. I appreciate that they serve Seattle's Best (i'm from Seattle originally) but it was fairly weak. There were definitely minor things that could stand to be repaired better, like the inch of caulk around the tub spout, but overall, it really wasn't bad. I'd definitely stay again if I was in the area.

I truly do not understand why Americans don’t demand better service. Just like 90% of other hotels ran by you know who, nasty rooms, nasty restrooms. You can’t change yellowed out outlets, clogged sink, nasty shower floor.

We absolutely LOVED our stay at the Country Inn Springfield!!! The hotel breakfast was wonderful, the chef was so sweet, the staff was incredibly kind and accommodating, I cannot say enough great things about this place!! Our room was so clean and modern with cute botanical decor. The entire building always smelled great. The small pool was nice and calm, never too busy. The only thing is I wish that the surrounding business would fill in the potholes you have to drive through to get to the hotel. Otherwise, 10/10 I wanna bring this hotel with me every time I travel. Not a single issue the whole time, put me at ease so I could enjoy my trip worry-free. For the price, you can't beat it!

I was impressed by the attention and service provided. Check-in was quick and I was able to use the parking lot. The room was perfectly clean, spacious and it had a good view. It was really useful to have a small fridge. It had everything that I needed for staying one night. The environment was quiet and silent. The location was good, it's a little bit far from downtown but there is a Kroger and some restaurants close by.

Rooms were very clean and well-maintained and the staff was extremely courteous and helpful. We arrived earlier than expected and they were able to get us checked in to our room right away. We were so very appreciative of them for this. The breakfast was wonderful and the coffee in the lobby was terrific. There was way more food available for breakfast than we had anticipated. They went above and beyond in this area. If we are ever in the area again we would certainly stay here once more. Kudos to the hotel staff for a job well done...

Stayed at this location for a wedding and I LOVE the Country Inn & Suites chains!!! The say was nice our room was nice. Everything waa clean and smelled clean. We didnt have any loud guests running through the hotel nor over our heads. The 2 young ladies who were working were very nice, personable and sweet hearts (I wish I had gotten their names). The only thing I didnt like were the sausages for breakfast....it's just MY personal opinion....I'm not a brown 'n serve sausage girl, thats the sausage there was no other meat option 😕. But I was able to get my waffle, egg and yogurt Yaay!!!😄😁 Anywho....where ever my next excursion takes me, and if there is a Country Inn & Suites, I WILL be staying... I will need a suite... I'm planning a trip with multiple people and we'llneed space....Thank You, see you all next time❤️
