Pocono Pride Festival
About This Event
Pocono Pride is a free, single-afternoon festival held on Courthouse Square in downtown Stroudsburg. It’s young. The event started in 2020 as a small community day at Rainbow Mountain Resort in East Stroudsburg, scaled down by the pandemic. It has grown every year since. The Pocono Pride Coalition, a nonprofit established with the Community Foundation of Monroe County, has run the event since 2024. Co-chair Michael Moreno is Stroudsburg's first openly gay mayor.
There are three stages for music, drag, and local DJs. More than 150 vendors set up shop. You’ll find ASL interpretation available. A visible police presence with vehicle barriers stands guard. Those barriers were added in 2024 following federal warnings about threats to Pride events. If you’re over 21, afterparties continue in nearby bars.
The 2026 edition took place on Sunday, 7 June, from noon to 5pm. No attendance count was published. As of our last check, the 2027 date hadn't been announced.
