Mid Atlantic Leather Weekend 2027

Mid Atlantic Leather Weekend (MAL) is the biggest leather and fetish event in North America. It brings people from the global leather community to Washington DC every January. For four days, the host hotel fills with leather runs, competitions, educational sessions, and the famous MAL dance parties.

The main draw: International Mr. Leather-style competitions, plus Mr. MAL, Mr. DC Eagle, and other titles. Just the host hotel lobby is something to see: thousands of leathermen, in boots, harnesses, and uniforms from every continent, all mixing freely.

MAL has been going since 1983. It’s still *the* gathering for East Coast leather culture. It's a fetish convention, a community reunion, and a political meet-up all at once. Leather organizations from across the region hold meetings alongside the parties.
