Lost Inn Paradise

We stayed here for one night before taking a cruise from Canaveral. It was so much nicer than the big corporate hotels. Right on the lake/lagoon side with amazing views and just the most perfect sunset. Lovely and clean, very easy self check in and out, coffee making facilities and a fridge/microwave. Took my own tea bags and microwaved the water!!

A beautiful site with 11 bungalows overlooking a jetty on the Banana River, offering magnificent sunsets. The whole area is calm and relaxing. There's a lovely swimming pool and a rooftop terrace, accessible by elevator, perfect for soaking up the sun and enjoying a meal. The bungalows are spacious, well-appointed, and have all the comforts. The kitchenette allows you to prepare meals; only plates, glasses, and cutlery are missing to complete the setup. Washing machines are available. A warm welcome awaits.

We had a great stay here. Me and my family stayed for two nights. We already are looking forward to coming back. The rooms were nice and spacious, very clean! Staff was amazing, the Property Manager and cleaning lady exceeded our expectations

We really enjoyed this motel, it was clean, quiet, well maintained compared to other beachside motels, it had decent coffee and half and half in room, and the bed was comfortable. It’s my new go to accommodation for cocoa beach.

It was a great experience had by all! A beautiful property and fantastic customer service!!! I officiated a wedding ceremony there, and everything went beautifully! I highly recommend for any occasion or just a quick get away for a change of scenery. Thank you for making our weekend so enjoyable!

I have stayed in Cocoa Beach many times over the past 20 years. And I appreciate the ocean and the river in one convenient area. I enjoy finding little gems in the area that offer a little better or a little more. We stayed there last year in the off season. We had the place to ourselves. The rooms are very spacious and clean, the beds are super comfortable. You can walk right out your door and go directly to the river or you can go upstairs on the deck and look to your right and have a beautiful view of the Banana River or look to your left and see the ocean through the trees. The ocean is literally across the street. You can use the service room where they have coolers and frisbees and umbrellas and beach chairs to take over to the beach with you. They have a small pool to take a quick dip in. It is a small complex which makes it all that much more personable. There is a Mexican restaurant right across the street. If you prefer other venues, there are many restaurants and entertainment within a 5-mile radius, many of the restaurants deliver. If you enjoy being on the water, fishing, boating or just relaxing, you cannot beat this place. I included a picture of the river at Lost in Paradise at sunset. Love it and cannot wait to go back!

This is a very small hotel with 10 - 12 total rooms. My daughter who lives in Cocoa Beach had her wedding here. All of us from out of town consumed more than half of the rooms. The rooms were nice, clean, nothing extravagant but they supplied the necessities. The shower was nice and large however the drain was clogged. There is no services here as it is basically just a room on the river. The center area between the two rows of rooms is where the food and drinks were after the wedding catered for 50 people. There’s a gazebo with the river and sunset in the background that was spectacular for an evening wedding. They had a sunset service, which started about 615 and there is a gazebo with a small deck to walk down and view the sunset. They got married in the gazebo with the sun setting, in the background. We were truly blessed with the sunset, was truly amazing, and lasted an extraordinary long time. The pictures from the ceremony as well as before and after pictures had a stunning beautiful sunset in the background. My only disappointment was I didn’t get to rub my toes in the sand, it’s got rocks on the river bed, but obviously not a beach.

First, we booked the bungalows blindly, on a recommendation. Sometimes that is a risk, but not in this case. I booked 7 bungalows for a weekend wedding event; it was delightful. I cannot speak highly enough about Aimara, who worked steadfastly and efficiently to make sure my reservations were exact. Star also was extremely helpful and polite in meeting and anticipating any needs we might have had. Aimara's professional and kind communication with me was through text, email and phone, and she confirmed and reconfirmed every aspect of our stay. She made the mother of the bride (me) not have to worry about anything outside of the ceremony, and believe me, that was a Godsend! She was available at any time through text if I had a need to reach her. The bungalows and the set-up of LIP are both awesome. So user friendly, and the ease of getting in and out without having to have a key, or even check in with the office was fabulous. The rooms were clean, very well maintained, and had everything we needed: comfy beds, comfy furniture, full fridge, coffee maker, TVs, good sized bathrooms with a big walk-in shower, and plenty of room to move around. The pool was terrific, and the outside bathroom by the pool was also clean. There is plenty of space for families to gather rooftop, under a covered patio, in the courtyard areas between rooms, and even on the two available piers. There was a room open that held pool toys, beach needs and such, with 24 hour access. Most of all, it was a great gathering place, was peaceful, easy to find, and I definitely plan to return as soon as possible. Do not hesitate to book at LIP... you'll never stay in a hotel again in the area! I thought the price was fair, as well. Only thing I'd say was unfortunate was the weather for all but one day, but it didn't put a damper on anything. If I were asked for an improvement, I'd say maybe have a higher quality toilet paper.. that single ply really thin stuff took me back to my high school days, and it's just not the greatest. But I'm thinking that's to keep the toilets from getting backed up, so I get it. If I could give 10 stars I would. Thank you LIP, I will be back and will tell everyone I know to find you too!

A very charming and peaceful place. Bungalow 11 overlooks the water with a jetty for admiring beautiful sunsets. Apparently, you can see dolphins; we didn't, but we did see rabbits every evening in front of our door—so cute! The bungalow was very clean and functional; however, the description mentioned a hairdryer... which wasn't there, as it was missing from the bathroom. So, washing your hair in the evening and going to sleep with wet hair wasn't ideal. It's also worth noting that there were no plates, cups, or cutlery. This is a real shame, especially since there's a small kitchenette. Two plates, two cups, two forks, two spoons, and two knives would be perfect, in my opinion. Similarly, there's nowhere to hang clothes, swimsuits, or towels to dry outside. A pity. Otherwise, the setting is fantastic, of course. The location is a bit far from everything, but that also means it's peaceful, so it's not a problem. In any case, it's still a very nice and romantic place. 😉

Our favorite place to come and relax. Things are always clean, in good order and ready on sched. Location is off the beaten track, but not too far to easily get to anywhere we wanted in a few minutes.

A lovely, highly recommended hotel. Cozy bungalows. The room key is a numerical code, which is sent to you by email shortly before your arrival. The access code for the grounds is also a numerical code. Very secure, as only hotel guests can enter the premises. Free parking is available in front of the property. The grounds are beautiful, with a small pool and seating on the jetty by the Banana River, perfect for watching the stunning sunset. Beaches are just a few minutes' walk away. There's a vending machine for drinks. The surroundings are quiet. Unfortunately, there are no restaurants or shops within walking distance. You have to drive at least 10 minutes to get to town. There's supposed to be a supermarket there, but I couldn't find it. You're really in the middle of nowhere. The main road outside isn't a problem, and you can't hear the traffic noise in the room! The only restaurant is a Mexican place called "Taco City." The menu isn't extensive, but the food is quite tasty. The bungalows are clean. The phenomenon of bioilluminescence, where tiny organisms are stimulated to glow by the waves, can be observed for free on the Banana River in August on the hotel grounds – no extra tour is required! The Kennedy Space Center is about a 30-minute drive away. Unfortunately, breakfast isn't offered at the hotel or at Taco City. However, there is a coffee maker in the room! The hotel managers are friendly and, while not always present, check in regularly.
