Worst hotel ever don't recommend it the Fairfield is better marriott

We got here for our stay and they were all booked up and gave us a 1 bed room instead of 2 for 4 people

Lots of soccer teams in the hotel, but the service is holding up well. Rooms are comfortable.

What a wonderful stay we had at Marriott Wichita! Came to see a friend for the 4th of July weekend and was pleased with the exceptional staff and hotel! Very clean and spacious rooms! Exceptionally attentive staff! Fabulous location! Super nice pool!

Nice hotel,clean rooms excellent customer service comfortable beds. They is plenty of truck and trailer parking available. Good breakfast, I would stay here again.

Wonderful location with multiple points of entry making it a breeze to get in an out of for local travel. With the exemplary staff this is my goto Wichita stay.

I recently had a deeply disappointing experience at The Marriott, and I feel compelled to share it. Discriminatory Policies Upon my arrival, I was met with a shocking policy that I couldn’t find mentioned anywhere on their website. The front desk staff informed me that because I live within a 50-mile radius, I needed prior manager approval to stay at the hotel. This felt not only unexpected but also discriminatory. I have never encountered such a policy at any hotel before. Lack of Compassion The staff member I interacted with displayed zero compassion or understanding regarding this policy. Instead of offering assistance or an explanation, he stated that he would cancel my reservation. It was disheartening to feel so unwelcome, especially after traveling. Resolution with Difficulty Fortunately, my husband is currently living in another state. After showing his ID, we were able to rebook our room, but the entire process was handled with indifference, and there was no apology for the inconvenience caused. Next Steps I plan to call corporate on Monday to address this unjust treatment and the unclear policies. It’s crucial for potential guests to be aware of how they might be treated at this establishment. Overall, my experience was deeply unsatisfactory, and I would advise others to be cautious regarding these policies and the service provided at this hotel.

Clean, comfortable, good location

This property is one of the best Marriotts I have ever stayed at, and I am a 23yr business traveler. The staff are helpful, professional and attentive. The rooms are clean, spacious and well maintained. The dining options are fresh and delicious. Analy and the entire morning shift in the breakfast area literally makes every guest feel so welcomed, and she remembers drink orders like you are a regular. The M lounge is wonderful for daytime zoom meetings, all day fresh coffee, snacks, and filtered water. The major benefit for the business traveler is the laundry self- service area, with free machines that already are plumbed to receive soap automatically. This literally is a huge bonus! The gym was stellar, and the indoor-outdoor pool is large enough for both adults and kids to enjoy. My one suggested area of improvement would be in housekeeping; they did not sweep floors or provide extra toilet paper during my towel refresh or once weekly cleaning service. This was so minor of a detail compared to how well the overall experience was. I felt very comfortable, safe and rested at this hotel -- keep up the outstanding work!

Family Vacation We chose the Wichita Marriott for a family vacation based on its strong reputation, positive reviews, and advertised daily housekeeping service. Unfortunately, our experience did not meet those expectations. Housekeeping was inconsistent throughout our five-night stay, and we frequently had to request service. On one occasion, dirty towels were removed but not replaced, and the room was not thoroughly serviced. We also encountered issues with room supplies not being replenished. The most significant issue was a hotel-wide air conditioning outage that lasted more than 24 hours. While maintenance issues can happen, communication regarding the outage was limited, and there was no clear timeline provided for resolution. The highlight of our stay was the M Club. The hosts there were consistently friendly, attentive, and professional, providing the level of service we expected from a Marriott property. While the hotel has potential and some excellent staff members, the housekeeping challenges and prolonged air conditioning issue had a significant impact on our overall experience.

Was told they have available rooms, and then they asked for ID and said we couldn't book here because we live in Wichita.
