My husband and I booked last minute just because we were staying nearby and looking for something to do. Greeted warmly on arrival and then had fun - all clean, well maintained etc. Enjoyed!
Staff where lovely, the music was good, the arena was small and bland, but the gun was battered and didn't work, my son changed his gun successfully but I just sat it out at the end having tried to play with a gun that wouldn't register it's hits on targets all game long . Wasn't offered a refund, didn't ask for one out of politeness, but I wouldn't use this small bland arena again unless its equipment was improved. Pricing was good if the equipment was in a better state but at the moment even this price is too high
Change machine took my money and i ask staff help , manager came took money out and said she needs to count to see if it has extra , 15 min later security comes and tells me it will take a while do asked my number etc , gave him all info and up to today 2 months later nothing could have just checked cctv...... half arcades ran out of tickets so couldnt even play much games , dissapointing
The kids and I had a really good time bowling at Tenpin. It’s like an indoor fun fair. You can also play games in the arcade. Snooker tables and other gaming tables.
This place needs an upgrade. The bowling balls are in terrible condition. They are so bumpy and damaged. The side bumpers had to be up for the whole game but only 1 side was up. I ordered a pizza, curly fries and drinks as we started bowling. A friendly member of staff came over 10 minutes later to say there was no one on reception right now and that it would be 10 minutes until our food would be started. The food eventually arrived after 40 minutes. The quality was terrible.
I won't lie here, this is the only positive from Luton. The city is dead and nothing you can do there. This place saved us. We had to spent 4 hours before going to the airport and we had no clue what to do. The we found this one and yeah, we did enjoyed our time. Bowling is fine and we had a lot of fun. Negative? No shoes provided and they told us to keep ours. I was quite shocked, but hey OK. Arcade games were fun as well, we did enjoy those. Beer was cold, no issues there. Food was - meh. Small portions, more like a snacks. No fork with loaded fries? Wow. Nothing provided. But it was fine. We did survive. It's not bad, but it's not special as well.
Customer service was dreadful, and the food was truly inedible. It took an age to arrive and apart from one burger and the cheesy chips it was cold, greasy and disgusting. Staff give out incorrect information which they then try to go back on - horrid experience from start to finish. The children enjoyed the actual bowling but nothing else was good. This would have had an even worse rating of the bowling itself wasn’t ok.
We had two bowling games between 5 people. Food didn’t arrived until mid way of the last game and was cold, we had to have it taken back. Drinks wouldn’t not have arrived if I didn’t ask at the bar. Both male and female toilets had no soap. Moved on to the arcade. Most of the machines were not giving the tickets and money slots were not working properly.
So the good bits, a clean and well maintained bowling alleys also offering laser tag pool tables and an arcade. The guy on the desk was great. What let it down was the way the company were managing walk in bookings. We have booked and paid in advance but if a wall in cane in before you they took your slot then you had to wait. The company had taken a view that bookings had pre paid so you weren't going to walk out a walk in customer might so profits over you Convenience.
The service was excellent. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We had my daughters 10th birthday party there and the kids loved every second of it. We got so many presents and gifts from the team. Will be our birthday party place from now on!
