OMX Hotel Kimi

Beautiful, large, clean room. The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet is inconsistent but adequate.

As many other reviews have mentioned, the photos do not accurately reflect the hotel's actual condition. I also noticed an unpleasant smell coming from the bathroom whenever the door was left open. Additionally, be aware that room rates can fluctuate significantly, I felt quite ripped off seeing the price of my room drop by more than three times just as I was checking out.

Charming hotel in a very quiet neighborhood, close to quality art and craft shops. The room with a terrace was very pleasant, and the view was breathtaking. The hot showers are a real plus. One small drawback... the Wi-Fi was too unreliable... sometimes excellent, sometimes nonexistent, the most unstable connection of our stay, especially considering the price. If this is your last hotel before flying, insist on taking a proper taxi. When I requested one, the reception offered to have one of their staff members drive me. The fare was 25 USD, quoted after the staff member arrived, while a regular taxi costs less than 7000 Rwandan francs for the same distance, or 5.38 USD... not very honest in our opinion and very disappointing. Aside from that, the breakfast, housekeeping, and security staff were lovely.

Best place to stay for longer, the rooms are nice, I chose one with balcony with view to the garden, in the morning or evening you have a great view. The breakfast is also fantastic and all in all just perfect. Restaurants and coffees around the area are one of the bests in town. I stayed two weeks here. Feels like home and will come back. The staff are just lovely!!

Excellent stay at the OMX. Top-notch welcome and service. Comfortable rooms. Very generous breakfast and perfect location with plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby. A top choice for travelers in Kigali!
