The receptionists are very nice and funny. The rooms and sauna are a bit too dark. There's a lovely fireplace. The fries are good.

Indeed a nice place to be...also teh oly gay public saune in the whole city...me personaly I do avoid the place after being there often when I am on holidays in cape Town...not because of the place but indeed because of to many German men, as I am from Germany and gladly I want to taste and feel somthing els...maybe on my next visit on business I will be proven wrong....Have fun lads:-)

Offering an essential safe-fun-enjoy space for a diverse clientele, the owner and staff are to be recommended and thanked for providing this landmark venue in Cape Town. A user of the private cabins on offer to rent, the only concern I have is that the once "life saving" aircon units have become white elephants, the substitute fans really just useless clutter and the mattresses absolutely need to be REPLACED - unless off course you like being poked from both ends simultaneously! This having been said, HH will always be appreciated and recommended.

The facilities are good and reasonably priced; cleanliness, service, and location are also good. The clientele is mostly white foreigners with about 20% black, both native and from other African countries; the few black people who go are very welcoming.
