via Stay22About this place Anatoli
Anatoli, on Napier Street, has served Turkish food in Cape Town's gay district since 1984. It's the kind of place that just is: unpretentious, dependable, a neighborhood staple.
The city's gay quarter has grown for decades into a genuinely inclusive area. Visitors are welcomed; locals gather regularly. Turkish restaurants tend to be warm, social places, and Anatoli's four-decade run suggests it's earned its spot here. It's a casual dining room, the kind of spot you can always count on for real food.
You'll find Anatoli at 28 Napier Street in Cape Town. If you want a casual meal in one of Cape Town's established gay areas, or just have a craving for Turkish food while you're in South Africa, this is a solid bet. Places that stick around this long usually do so for a reason.

Anatoli's was one of our favorite restaurants , but unfortunately they closed their doors for business. At first we didn't believe the rumors so we actually took a drive there to verify the sad news.
I'm not sure if many people know about this spot, I found them on google maps and decided to give it a try. Its a great spot for a date or just a social dinner. For the history buffs, its located in an old rustic warehouse that used to be on the harbor (the harbor has shifted a few km since then). The food is amazing and the service is great. We ordered the chicken and beef kebabs and had some of their awesome sauce dips and flat bread, it was all delicious. I highly recommend you give them a try.
Typical Mediterranean food - meze style. Enjoyed the variety and service was good. Worth visiting for a taste of
Absolutely disappointing 😞
