Absolutely fantastic!!. A gem of a place to stay and relax in Franschhoek. Our room (No5) was spacious, beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. We had our own private outdoor area which offered 2 x sunbeds and a bistro table/chairs. Amelia, our host, was amazing. Fantastic social braii area for which Amelia supplies wood, firelighters, cutlery/plates etc. Our 6 night stay was amazing. Safe walking distance into town is a definite plus.

Once again, we enjoyed a wonderful stay at Amelie's. The entire guesthouse is very clean and tidy, and nothing is lacking. It's in a quiet location, yet just a stone's throw from the village road. We'd love to come back again soon! Fritz and Sonja

Stayed at the Most exceptionally well catered Airbnb hosted by Amelia om Franschhoek. The accommodation was spotless and hospitality 5 stars . Well catered for with all the amenities one could wish for . The extra length king size had lovely Egyptian cotton quality linen on the bed. My bedroom linen was freshened up in a four day stay . Air con was a lovey feature to have too . Amelia kept in contact throughout my stay if we required any additional assistance . Plenty safe parking and privacy throughout . Will definitely be back . Loved our two night stay at Amelia’s wonderful guesthouse. Ticked every single box on my rather fussy checklist that I have for accommodation choices. Huge well-thought-out beautiful room, lovely bathroom, with hooks in all the right places (one of my checklist items)! Great shower, as well a bath. Useful kitchenette, filled with quality kitchenware. Very helpful host who left us a thoughtful gift of sparkling water and ice coffees as we don’t drink wine. Best of all, the bed!!! Oh my word, such comfort, I even got the details from Amelia as the bed eased my achey back like no other! Would love to return to C’est La Vie soon!

Feel welcomed at once. Owner was very friendly, helpfull and always just a phone call away when needed. Very neat and clean rooms. Highly recommended.

We recently booked only one night at C est La Vie, but it was fantastic. The room was beautiful, the bathroom was gorgeous, and the private terrace was lovely and secluded. The bed was incredibly comfortable, the best of any place we've stayed. The kitchenette was fully equipped, and of course, there was rusk for coffee. There was even wine in the fridge. Fantastic. The pool was lovely, but we didn't use it due to a lack of time. We were walking to Franshoek, which is easily doable and the neighborhood is lovely and safe. We've already booked again for next year, and this time for two nights. We're hoping for the same room, Amelia. Thank you for your hospitality and kindness. Keep up the good work.
