This place is mint, a must to stay, the host Aemelia Hoon is very kind, you won't be sorry and it is quiet and the view is awesome.....100% recommended.
A very pleasant stay. Definitely recommended :)
A very nice, modern guesthouse with parking. Amelia is very friendly. It's about a 15-minute walk to the town center. The facilities are very good; the only thing missing is one or two comfortable chairs in the room. Thank you for the welcome bottle of wine and the water in the refrigerator!
My roon was very spacious, quiet, and well appointed, with a mini-kitchen, a private backyard and views of the mountains, yet close to restaurants and shops. The property has a swimming pool. The owner is very attentive and kind. Highly recommend.
Wonderful apartment in Franschhoek. The bed is lovely and the shower is excellent! Franschhoek restaurants are 10mins walking distance. Amelia is a warm host who responds to quickly to questions. Would definitely recommend staying here if you are looking for a high end apartment in this wine area!
We had a pleasure of being hosted by Amelia during the long weekend of August 2024. As a first time user of an airbnb we were very impressive with the owners communication leading to our arrival and found the room to be spacious, peaceful, comfortable and clean with a clear view of Franschhoek mountain from both front and backyard. As a self catering place it was well catered with anything we might need during our stay. Thanks for the Shiraz 👌 and the cookies 🍪 😋 The facility feature a good backyard for an afternoon tea or sunbathing, etc. ; sunna and a swimming pool. Pity the weather was not welcoming during our weekend stay didnt allow the use of in-house amenities. The wifi network was excellent did not notice any lagging while streaming. Noted that each room had a dedicated netflix account and other entertainment options. The place is within walking distance to town; if you so wish to walk around. The owner was generous to extend our check out time in the morning, unexpectedly so; which we were grateful 🙏 .
