Franschhoek is a mesmerizing little place with lots to see and a lot of history. Definitely recommend that you stay over for a few days.

Avoid this place — disappointing experience!!! When we arrived at Neighbourgood in Franschhoek, the bathroom basin was completely blocked, which was a very poor start to our stay. After checking out, my husband realised he had left his AirPods behind. I immediately emailed the property to arrange collection the following week, but received no response. We can still see the AirPods’ location in Franschhoek, which has raised serious concerns about how our belongings were handled. If you value your personal belongings and expect good communication from your accommodation provider, we strongly recommend avoiding this place.

Nice rooms but very noisy in the hallway. If anyone walks into the hallway of the connecting rooms you will hear it.

You did not tell me before I came that I had to have my own passwords with me if I wanted to use any of the TV channes. I would prefer to pay a bit more for the room and have the TV just working as most accommodation places do. Secondly, when we arrived, there was no one from thhe establishment there so I had to phone and eventually they came and showed us to the room but no one took us to the room to show us how everything worked. The bedside lights were not charged.

I would describe the accommodation as fine. Not great but not bad. Location is fantastic and although it matches the photos, the floors feel a bit dirty (maybe the vinyl flooring). There was a massive clump of hair on top of the shower drain so that was a bit meh. Some dark (black) stains on duvet (not sure what that might be?) and the bed was a bit short (very wide but i’m only 1.65m tall and my feet were hanging off!!). Wouldnt say it’s quite worth the price. But location is mint. The vibe is much more cold & business minded than personal. Slow response from host, no cot bed provided for our baby even though it was confirmed to be there
