Favorite hotel on Rosebank. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Quite modern with good amenities. Breakfast is good. The hotel restaurant is excellent.

This is a really cool and interesting atmospheric hotel. The day cool is gorgeous and the staff are upbeat and engaging. Thoroughly enjoyed a brief stay here with two children. There is an excellent curation of art in the hotel which lends a lot of interest. The Restaurant and bar are a fun place to spend time. The only downside is a lack of swimming pool if you’re travelling with kids

I can’t say enough about the Hyde. This is the second time I have had the pleasure to stay there during my sabbatical. As a South African born now US Professor returning to my birth-home: staying at the Hyde was a homecoming. The staff: Tamara, Lebo, Rillo, Grace and all the others made me feel so welcome and cared for. Unfortunately I was struggling with my health and the entire Hyde community showed empathy, warmth and genuine interest. The rooms, lobby and restaurant are stunning. The hotel reflects the exuberant and resilient spirit of the Jozi I love. Don’t hesitate to stay at The Hyde.
