Island Vibe

Island Vibe is a neat little backpackers tucked away right on the N2. It doesn't feel like you're on the main road with a good sound barrier. There is a lovely view from the top deck. The rooms are great, good bunk beds (a little low), and extra bedding is provided.The current staff, Senate and O'nele are super amazing! They are really down to earth and friendly, and make you feel right at home. Met loads of cool people, enjoyed the fires and braais, and playing some games. It's a really safe space. Very happy with my stay! ✨️

I had a wonderful stay at island vibe Knysna, the staff were super friendly and up for an adventure any time, which as a solo travel gets me out of my comfort zone to create great memories, I stayed in a dormitory which was very clean and the bathrooms were also good. At night we had a fire going in the pit which made for great chats with new friends and there is also a fully stocked bar just so you know 😏😅, but other than that I really do recommend staying at island vibe in Knysna if you’re ever in the area!!

This would be an okay place to stay if it weren’t for so many compounding issues. I am unable to sleep in my room even with noise canceling headphones and white noise due to someone snoring extremely loud and keeping everyone up. I am unable to sleep on a normal sized couch in the common room because it’s locked so I’m attempting to sleep on a cushion less tiny couch next to the kitchen. AND I can’t even leave to go to another hotel because they have allowed a van to park me in. If it were my car I would 100% scrape the sides of this van that parked me in but it’s a rental and I don’t want to pay even more money for someone else’s wrongdoing. Even if I weren’t going to leave tonight I was planning to leave before dawn tomorrow and I can almost guarantee that van will still be there. I am trapped here against my will. This is absolutely ridiculous.

Hie I would like to recommend the service that we getting, they are all kind 😇 they so good to each and everyone thanks to Angie she is always there for us and she keep us updated in all things all luv ❤️ for Prince and the team may God keep her for us she is the one we need.

Lovely, clean and friendly accommodation. Great fire every evening. Good vibes. The host, Angie, takes wonderful care of us guests.

Very Sad and disappointing revisit after a good few years.The owner is absent,doesn't even live in Knysna.The rooms had a smell about them,the kitchen was filthy,with limited decent cutlery and crockery and the floor flooded from a leaking barely working fridge.The music was excessively loud.Such a great location in Knysna but sadly neglected by both owner and staff.Never again!

Great service from Zhaun, alsome atmosphere. We stayed here for two nights and we loved it. Thank you island vibes for the experience
