GLOW International Film Festival 2026

GLOW International Film Festival is Cape Town's newest film festival, a small, impactful celebration of cinema under the stars. It's on the roof of the Grand Daddy Boutique Hotel. GLOW focuses on bold storytelling, new technology, and making industry connections.

They screen fewer films on purpose. That way, each one's high quality, and you can actually talk to filmmakers and industry pros. The festival kicks off with a red carpet, free drinks, keynote speeches, and panels. After the screenings, there are Q&As with filmmakers and networking.

This is a small event. Only 80 seats each night. You can buy a full festival pass or just a single-day pass. Either way, you get access to a virtual showcase of other global films. Up on the roof, you'll get sunset views over Long Street.
