Amazing food and was welcomed immidiately we stepped in until we stepped out.

Exceptional experience. Service staff were faultless, food was perfect. Atmosphere and ambience was great. We couldn’t have wished for better.

Absolutely incredible with flawless service. We had the vegan 5 course and each dish was just wonderful. Aaron in particular was just wonderful. Already looking forward to visiting South Australia again just to come here.

For all the hype our meal was just rushed, different temperatures and got our mains mixed up, but the staff are lovely.

Attended the Illuminate Christmas in July dinner at Aurora and it was truly exquisite - amazing food, beautiful themed decoration, fabulous friendly and thoughtful staff and the lighting display providing still more atmosphere. The menu was excellent with original and delicious food combinations - and special thanks to the chef for providing delicious, interesting and beautifully presented alternatives for one of our party with the complication of gluten, dairy and soy-free requirements. We have attended several food and wine events in Adelaide but this was by far the finest. Congratulations Aurora and thank you so much. We'll be back.

Another fantastic night at Aurora celebrating my birthday with friends. We were lucky enough to have Arran serving us again, and he excelled and explained everything to us about the dishes we were eating. We had the 5 course degustation menu and I was well catered for as a vegetarian. They have a big selection of wines and they are very affordable. I would highly recommend this restaurant for a special night out.

Outstanding quality of food with the right balance of flavour, presentation, creativity and textures. Beautiful and attentive service, as always. The 5 course degustation represents brilliant value with the overall experience rivalling anything else across SA. Thank you for another great evening.

Before you visit, I'd recommend having a pre-meal first. My suggestion? A McDonald's Wagyu Beef Double Burger, because the $95-per-person three-course menu left me feeling like I was served portions more suited to a 9-month-old infant than a hungry adult. The first course consisted of two slices of kingfish, each about 1 mm thick and roughly 50 mm in diameter, accompanied by an equally thin quarter slice of red radish, all presented in what looked like a cigarette tray. It certainly made for an unexpected presentation. To my taste, the dish was rather bland and reminded me of lightly salted herring from Coles. The second course featured two thumb-sized pieces of duck breast. Again, I found the flavour disappointing. In my opinion, it didn't come close to the duck I've enjoyed at simple Chinese eateries in the Adelaide Central Market. The highlight of the evening was the dessert. The ice cream was genuinely excellent and tasted sublime—the one course I thoroughly enjoyed. Overall, I left feeling that I had paid a premium for an experience that didn't justify the price. If you enjoy expensive, minimalist dining where presentation takes priority over portion size and, in my opinion, flavour, then Aurora may be for you. For me, it brought to mind the story of *The Emperor's New Clothes*—everyone seems expected to admire something I simply couldn't see the value in

It was for our one year anniversary All the dishes was stunning and delicious. The cocktails were beautiful as well. (forgot to take more photos) We had an amazing time and can’t wait to come back!
