We enjoyed our stay at mantra Terrace quiet location. Easy walk into the city also to central station to catch the train to the airport. We would like to stay again on our next visit to Brisbane. Thank you to the friendly reception staff also thank you to the housekeeping staff Tomoka who serviced our room
Very small rooms, not a lot of space to move around at all. Unfortunately my room wasn’t very clean, there were dirty marks on the sheets and hair through the bed. The shower drain had an awful smell coming from it. No microwave or cutlery other than a teaspoon and coffee mugs. Good location and reasonably cheap just don’t expect too much regarding cleanliness. Paid car parking is off-site and located one street over.
We really enjoyed our stay for 3 nights in May (NRL Magic Round), the staff are very welcoming and helpful. The room is compact but modern and clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast is not a buffet but a breakfast in a box which was very pleasant. Ours included a ham & cheese croissant which can be toasted, fresh fruit pot (Melon, grapes, pineapple), a delicious cake and a bottle of fruit juice plus you can have a barista coffee. (There was an alternative choice of box too but I can't remember all the inclusions). The croissant was enjoyable and the young lady did a great job of serving everybody. On checkout reception were helpful with holding our luggage for a short while. We slept well. Thanks for a great stay.
Always smiling behind the counter when you checkin. I found the service level was to a high standard and professional at all times ,the staff are Curtis and very friendly and go out of the way to do extra . The GT s are great and coffee too Keep up the good work guys Lyndon
Fantastic service from Mike. Great 10 day stay for work. Mike was always extremely helpful.
Bar open late Great attitude Reasonably priced wines Late night snacks available Mike offers great service and I am sure this reflects in the management
The rooms are on the small side but we found it to be perfectly adequate for our short stay. The bed and pillows were clean and comfortable . We had a small issue of an incorrect room type at check in but it was sorted out very quickly by the young man on reception. The hotel is very conveniently located to the city and central station. TIP..if you arrive by train take the Wickham Terrace exit....stairs or lift available...cross over towards the small shops and follow the 'access to Astor Ave/ The terrace' sign and it will take you to the hotel. Sooo much easier than dragging luggage up the hill to Edward st.
