Regents Court Sydney

The hotel is well located in a small street behind kings cross / Potts point. The kitchenette was useful for quick meals and the room is decently sized for 2. There were some issues with our room however: The internet kept dropping out and if it did work, it was slow and couldn’t load basic google searches. Not ideal for those working while travelling. Asked the front desk about it but couldn’t resolve it despite troubleshooting. Probably a personal preference, but the bed was a Murphy bed and we felt it was too small for two adults. There was a gap between the wall and the mattress so you had to put pillows in this gap to act as a bed head. It felt like sleeping on a sofa bed which we don’t expect from a hotel (maybe a hostel?). We both didn’t sleep well during our stay. The extractor fan in the bathroom didn’t work and nor did a few lights on the walls. The light dimmer also broke off so you had to dim the lights without a workable switch. All this is to say is that unless it says otherwise (or given prior notice), we expect things that are in our hotel room to work.

Location A+ easy to reach via train from airport. Everything was walking distance or close with train. Lots of food opportunities in the neighbourhood. Excellent and easy to follow late check-in instructions. Thanks for that! Great big room, with two couches, with good A/C. A bit of an old shower but good water pressure and hot water. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash were provided. Poor WiFi. Super kind staff. Beautiful rooftop terras.

Renovated hotel, very friendly staff (they stored our luggage on the day of our check-in). It's worth noting that it's a hotel with apartments, so there's no room service, and the apartments have kitchenettes. One problem was the extra bed. It would fall to the floor when someone lay down on it, which was a bit uncomfortable. The bathroom was also rather small. The rest of the room was very nice with a retro touch. The kitchenette was very useful and well-equipped, and the room itself was spacious. The location is good, next to King's Cross station. The only problem is the station's connectivity, as it's not on the same line as Circular Quay. So, despite being a short walk from several attractions (30 minutes), the journey can be somewhat inconvenient if you don't want to walk (for example, it's approximately 35-40 minutes to the opera house since you have to transfer).

Fabulous location. My hubby was in st Lukes hospital. This was a 3 min walk away. Apart from the misinformation regarding parking initially this is fabulous. I would love to stay here when not visiting the hospital. The secure parking, needed a fob which was placed in our room had multiple entries, was across the road at Springfield Tower. We didn't know this, so we couldn't find the correct parking station. Once sorted I was able to enjoy the location. The room was big, the bed and pillows were to my liking. Plenty of nearby cafes, woolies metro and kings cross station. I walked to rushcutters bay park and enjoyed the views and tranquillity. Highly recommend Regents Court accommodation. :)

The location is very good, very close to Kings Cross Station and within reasonable walking distance of the Royal Botanic Garden and the Opera House. It is also right next to Llankelly Place, where there are several good restaurants and cafés with a great atmosphere. The facilities are very good; although it is somewhat old, everything is very well maintained and works very efficiently. Andres was very kind at all times, adapting to our needs and always responding very quickly and effectively whenever we contacted him. A highly recommended hotel located in a good area of Sydney.
