About this place Quest Potts Point

Quest Potts Point is a boutique art hotel situated in one of Sydney's most dynamic neighbourhoods. Located at 15 Springfield Avenue, the property puts you within a five-minute walk of Oxford Street in Darlinghurst, the heart of Sydney's LGBTQ+ scene. The surrounding area is genuinely urban and welcoming, with a significant gay community and plenty of LGBTQ+-friendly venues including bars, clubs, and restaurants within easy reach. Potts Point itself has a distinctive character worth exploring. The neighbourhood is known for its thriving café culture—locals joke that almost every second shopfront is a café—giving the area a relaxed, social atmosphere. You're also conveniently positioned near the Domain and Finger Wharf at Woolloomooloo, both popular spots for locals. Victoria Street is just one block away, adding even more dining and entertainment options to your doorstep. As a boutique art hotel, this property caters to travellers looking for something more distinctive than a standard chain. The focus on art and design appeals to guests who value a unique aesthetic during their stay. Whether you're visiting Sydney for the Pride events, to explore the gay precinct, or simply to experience the city's LGBTQ+-friendly culture, the location offers excellent access to the community while maintaining the charm of a characterful neighbourhood.

This is not a Quest property anymore. We came here and r qlised that the Quest board is no more, looks like they have given the property to some other enterprise.

*This post is all about the donut shop* Underneath the hotel there is a donut and coffee shop. Gluten-free and vegan donuts. So yummy and taste like real cinnamon sugared donuts. Hot and fresh donuts made in house! I love stopping in the donut shop just because OMG Donuts are so good.

Because our actual hotel was overbooked we booked a room at the quest for three nights because of the good ratings and recommendations. Unfortunately neither the pictures nor the ratings reflected the reality at all. The rooms are old and dirty. The bathroom was not cleaned properly, parts of the furniture was damaged. We looked at 3 rooms and took the most bearable. All we got was a breakfast for free because the nice receptionist felt embarrassed. The location is good, but apart from that I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.
