Ahmedabad Queer Pride

Ahmedabad Pride doesn't happen every year and has no fixed date, though February is the usual month. The city's first march was on 1 December 2013, and another followed on 1 December 2014.

QueerAbad revived it on 18 February 2018, when about 200 people walked from the Kanoria Centre for Arts to the Darpana Academy and finished with a queer mela, and again on 24 February 2019 from Ankur Char Rasta. Since then the Gandhinagar Queer Pride Foundation has taken over: it held a walk on 18 February 2024 and listed one for 15 February 2026, though we found no news report confirming the 2026 walk took place. In 2025 the Gujarat march was held in Vadodara instead.
