About this place Sahodaran

Sahodaran is one of India's oldest LGBTQ+ community organisations, founded in Chennai in 1998 by Sunil Menon. It works with gay, bisexual and other men who have sex with men through sexual-health outreach, HIV prevention, counselling, mental-wellbeing support and coming-out groups, and has long been a cornerstone of the city's queer community. It also helps anchor Chennai's wider activist calendar alongside groups such as Orinam and Nirangal.
