What reviewers say

Some visitors report a nice and comfortable stay with good service and polite staff, even mentioning tasty food and good restaurants. However, a significant number of reviews describe Staybook as a fraudulent company, alleging they show hotels as available, take payment, then cancel bookings and fail to issue refunds.

About this place Staybook-Paharganj

Staybook Paharganj is a budget mainstream hotel on Desh Bandhu Gupta Road, opposite the police station near Motia Khan in Paharganj. It is listed as gay-friendly, not as a gay venue. Paharganj is Delhi's long-running backpacker district, and the main draw is proximity to New Delhi railway station and the metro; Connaught Place is a short auto-rickshaw ride away. The surrounding streets are crowded, noisy and chaotic, so expect that rather than a quiet base. Google reviewers rate it 4.6 from about 135 reviews. Confirm couple check-in policy with the hotel in advance, as policies at Indian budget hotels vary.

Same fraud happened to me They showed a price of 1001 for a hotel near kaichi dhaam- Kanchi Divine Retreat. When I booked the hotel and paid the price. I got a booking confirmation email. But right after 5 min. I got another email saying the hotel cancelled my booking and I need to pay total od 4100 to confirm my booking. I asked them for refund but they didn't respond and started giving vague responses. I haven't got my refund yet and I feel this is a total scam and I wont be getting my refund. PLEASE BE AWARE OF SUCH SCAM WEBSITES, CHECK THEIR REVIEWS BEFORE MAKING ANY TRANSACTION.
