Meraki Inn - Saltlake Kolkata

Great budget stay in Kolkata! Rooms were exactly as shown in pictures, staff was attentive and location was just perfect. Tucked away in a quiet corner, but at the same time, accessible by foot to so many places in the area. Good food options near by.

Used to be a great place with nice rooms and service, but it has gone downhill significantly. While it remains budget-friendly, the service is now very poor. Staff often don't answer calls from the room, and when you do get through, the service is extremely slow. Disappointing to see such a decline

Good experience

We recently stayed there and our experience was made unpleasant by the manager who gave us an ordinary room with no view, facing backyard , my son had booked us from New Delhi online and paid up almost an amount of 6k/- at their insistance in advance. We asked them to change the room, they demanded 1k/- extra (per day)for the same, they were charging extra for every thing we requested (even water), no complimentary breakfast was offered. Also the location is such that there's no nearby eateries where one could walk down for refreshments or a meal..we regret staying there - request the management to question the old man Manager , very corrupt man !!

Worst hotel in Salt lake..better look somewhere else, dont waste your time! I had an extremely disappointing experience with Meraki. From start to finish, the service was dirty, unprofessional, disorganized, and frustrating. The staff seemed uninterested in actually helping and lacked basic customer service skills. For the price charged, I expected a much higher standard of service. Unfortunately, Meraki completely failed to deliver. I would not recommend them to anyone..Definitely not worth the time or money.
