The hotel is in a good location, close to the train station, but it's in terrible condition. I don't recommend it!

It deserves not just one star, it deserves minus 10,000 stars. First, the exterior made me uneasy, and when I climbed the dirty stairs to the third floor, the lights were only on up to the second floor. I used my phone's flashlight to unlock the door. The moment I opened it, there was an overwhelming musty smell! I immediately opened the window, but the humidity was terrible! There were insect wings and countless hairs on the futon. It felt disgustingly damp to the touch. You could tell just by looking at the slippers and towels that they weren't clean. The shower room was also covered in mold, but what about the toilet!? No way!? I went outside and found a door, located by the stairs. There was no lock, so security was out of the question. There was a sink and a toilet, but there was a toilet seat cover! Who is this shared with!? Isn't it crazy that anyone can use the toilet!? I was beyond angry, I was just appalled. Who would stay in a hotel like this!? Only some old guy who doesn't care would stay here, and it costs 7,000 yen a night, or maybe even 1,000 yen? No, I wouldn't stay here even if I were paid. I saw reviews mentioning cockroaches, but it was on a whole other level, and cockroaches are even cuter than that. I lost 14,000 yen because it was a two-night stay, but I didn't care, I left after only a five-minute stay. I seriously want my money back, and to anyone thinking of staying here because of the location and price, please, absolutely do not. This is not a hotel at all, so please, I beg you, go out of business. I'm so pissed off.

The only way to contact us was by phone; there wasn't even an email address. If needed, we'd basically have to rely on an agent to make contact. The hostel owner didn't provide any lock-picking instructions, so we almost ended up climbing in through a window. Also, the pillowcase was yellow—the most battle-hardened pillow I've ever slept on.

I don't even want to give it 1 star. The whole room was dark, damp and uncomfortable. I was shocked at how different the actual room was from the photos I saw online.

It's close to the station and the service was polite and great. If I had any questions, they were happy to help me over the phone, and it was a very friendly hotel.
