About this place J's OSAKA

J's OSAKA is a small gay counter bar in the basement of the Pearl Leisure Building at Doyamacho 16-4. Doyama-cho, just east of Umeda in Kita Ward, is Osaka's main gay bar district, and this building holds several other gay bars. J's is a local regulars' bar with a 4.4 Google rating from about 65 reviews. The usual Japanese counter-bar customs apply. Expect a seat charge or cover on top of drinks, the host will make conversation, and some Japanese helps. Some Doyama bars do not admit foreigners or first-timers without an introduction, so ask politely at the door.
