It’s not a sauna but it says so in the name. Misleading isn’t? My advise, if you are not Asian, don’t go there. Nobody will look at you, talk to you or do anything with you. If you still wanna waste your time, it’s 1500yen and cash only.

Age limit: 40, underwear required. Anytime entry is 1,500 yen, and no reservations are allowed. There's only one bathroom, so there's often a line. Monday: 3:00 PM - 10:00 PM Tuesday: 3:00 PM - 10:00 PM Wednesday: 3:00 PM - 10:00 PM Thursday: 3:00 PM - 10:00 PM Friday: 3:00 PM - 10:00 PM Saturday: 3:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sunday: 3:00 PM - 10:00 PM

I highly recommend going if you're in good shape and know a little Japanese, because the staff are mostly young and muscular. If you're not in good shape or young enough (at least look under 35, but you might not even get in 🤣), you might not have a good time because nobody pays attention to you. It's crowded even on weekdays, so you don't necessarily have to go on weekends; it's packed after work.

This is the first time I've ever been asked to show my ID at a gay bar. I'm appalled.

For Foreigners: A very interesting experience. It’s like the touch and go of Grindr, but in person! There are 3 floors of rooms (twin sized mats) where you can wait for others to check you out, or you can cruise the rooms to find someone you might be interested in. I didn’t have any success, it seemed the majority of the men (most all were younger) were not interested in a white foreigner. There is only nonverbal communication and touching/groping to indicate interest in a person. Ex: you try to interact with someone out who is “sleeping” and they make an X with their arms. The format of only possibly finding a match seems rather unproductive and time consuming in person. I did not recommend to any foreigners in general, using Grindr or a different venue would be best.
