Fantastic experience. Chef is very friendly and explaining the origin of the restaurant and the food. Food itself is delicious. Best meal we had in Japan. Space is very small and can’t be spotted from the street which adds to the atmosphere.

A truly special and beautifully executed dining experience. The restaurant is intimate and elegant, the service is warm and attentive, and every course is prepared with exceptional skill, precision, and respect for traditional Japanese cuisine. The quality of the ingredients and the chef’s attention to detail are evident throughout the entire meal. This is a very authentic and traditional Japanese dining experience, with carefully prepared ingredients and distinctive flavours that may be unfamiliar to some international visitors. It is particularly suited to guests who are already familiar with and enjoy traditional Japanese cuisine, or who are enthusiastic about discovering its deeper traditions and regional flavours. One of the highlights of the evening was the chef’s personal explanation of each dish—where the ingredients and recipes originate, the stories and traditions behind them, and the history and philosophy of the restaurant. This added a meaningful cultural dimension to the meal and made the experience feel very personal and memorable. The chef’s craftsmanship, knowledge, and dedication, together with the exceptional hospitality of the team, make this a unique and highly refined dining experience.

We had the most personal and magical experience having dinner at Ise Sueyoshi. Not only was the food fantastic, the service was above and beyond and we even got to learn about the local ingredients used.
