Many visitors praise the Grand Kadri Hotel for its elegance, comfortable rooms, delicious food with variety, and central location in Zahle, highlighting its blend of luxury and culture. We traveled all the way from Canada for a family vacation and stayed at the Grand Kadri Hotel, but what was supposed to be a wonderful trip turned into a nightmare. The hotel installed a black dance floor right at the entrance of the pool. Because it is black and directly under the sun, it gets scalding hot. There are absolutely no warning signs, covers, or blocking stickers, and you cannot avoid it to get to the pool area. > My 4-year-old son walked on it, and his feet were severely burnt. To make matters worse, we found out a young girl had burnt her feet on the exact same floor just the day before. The hotel knew this was a major hazard and did absolutely nothing to block it off. Even the day after our accident, it was left exactly as is. > While the F&B Manager was personally nice and apologized for what happened, the front desk staff the next morning were incredibly heartless. Because it was a Sunday and local clinics were closed, I asked the desk agent to help us call a hospital so we could get my son's feet checked. The girl refused and flatly told me, "It's not our responsibility if your son walked on it, we can do nothing for you." > A polite apology from the F&B manager doesn't change the fact that the hotel took zero action to fix a known danger. Our entire international vacation was completely interrupted, and our plans for the upcoming week are ruined because my boy cannot walk and must avoid the sun, water, and sand. I am attaching photos of the area and his injuries as proof. Parents, please be extremely careful here.

Do not let your children near the pool entrance here. We came all the way from Canada for our vacation, and it was completely ruined. The Grand Kadri Hotel installed a black dance floor right at the pool walkway with zero warning signs, covers, or barriers. My 4-year-old son walked on it and suffered severe burns on his feet. We later found out another child was burnt the day before—meaning the hotel knew about the danger and chose to leave it exposed. > While the F&B Manager was polite and apologized, the overall lack of accountability is shocking. The next day, when we asked the front desk for help calling a hospital (since it was Sunday and we needed medical advice), the agent refused and told us it wasn't their responsibility. An apology does not fix the fact that my son now cannot walk, and our entire vacation and upcoming trip to the beach are completely ruined. See attached photos for proof of the setup and the injuries. Absolute failure in safety and basic customer care.
