About this place IBlue Pub & Cafe

IBlue Pub & Cafe is a gay-friendly venue located in Kuala Lumpur, offering a welcoming space for LGBTQ+ visitors and locals. Situated in the Taman Bukit Segar area, it provides a relaxed pub and cafe setting where you can unwind and socialize. Kuala Lumpur has a small but vibrant LGBTQ+ scene, and venues like this play an important role in providing safe, inclusive spaces. Whether you're looking for a casual drink, a bite to eat, or simply a place to connect with like-minded people, this establishment caters to those needs. The pub and cafe format means you can expect a more laid-back atmosphere compared to high-energy nightclubs, making it a good option if you prefer conversation and a comfortable hangout spot. The venue is conveniently located at 15 Jalan Manis 3, making it accessible within the city. As with any travel to Malaysia, it's worth noting the local context: while LGBTQ+ people do live and socialize in Kuala Lumpur, it's wise to be respectful of local customs and understand the broader cultural environment. I went there on New Year’s Eve, and the moment I walked in, the staff told me it was a full house. But I could clearly see people going in and out. It made me wonder if I was treated differently, especially since I’m Indian and most of the crowd there was Chinese

The prices have changed quite a bit. It's only been six months since my last visit, and the prices have increased by over 20%. The atmosphere has become a little strange; two tables seemed to be frequented by gangsters, looking menacing. It wasn't as relaxed as before.
