The Malla Hotel

There is not question about the rooms and service. What impressed me the most about The Malla is its location in the quiet neighborhood with green garden and lawn. And for after hours, Bally's Casino is just next door.

Lunch and dinner had very limited starter options, and sometimes none at all. Guests arriving close to the 9:30 PM dinner closing time should not be made to feel rushed while eating. The shower gel and handwash dispensers appeared diluted and were not properly stocked. The absence of a mini refrigerator in the room was surprising, and charging extra for a basic small drink felt unnecessary. Some bathroom fixtures require maintenance. No breakfast wake-up call was offered, which is a common service at many premium hotels. I share this as constructive feedback because the food and overall hospitality were good, but there is definitely room for improvement in the guest experience.

my school took us there for the literature festival and some woman who was not even a staff and looked like a football kept screaming at me and my friends. One of my friends was cracking his knuckles and that woman threatened him saying,"If you do that I will cut off your hands and kick you out the hotel." This place is not recomended as I didnt like the woman

Absolutely loved the facilities in the hotel from stay to food all world class. The access was super very near to Thamel Market. The front desk was supportive except on one occasion where they sounded rude when asked for spare key for the room alloted on shared basis and they couldnt locate my name in the group list. They could have dealt the situation better by first giving the guest the due respect and then confirming the list. I am sure it would not have happened if I were an English speaking National. The cooks and doorkeepers were courteous and kind There is a high priced jewellery shop claiming selling of authentic items on the ground floor The pool is neat and clean and the bar is colourful though we didnt use it

The Malla hotel is great! Highly recommend. I am always treated so well every time I come stay. The staff is lovely - special shout out to Suraj for being so attentive and helpful.
