Wellspace Sauna

An amazing space, with a group of organisers that gather and create with heart and soul! Thank you Rick and Natalija! Every detail had been thought through with such care! A great selection of facilitators, workshops and performing artists! Great workshop spaces, sauna set up, kitchen, and enormous care for the toilets! WellFest keeps growing year to year and never ceases to surprise with an even more improved version of its magic. Can't wait for next year's one! Thanks to everyone who has contributed to these wonderful days together.

A hidden oasis! At first, I was skeptical because it was near the airport, but this wonderful place exceeded expectations. The sauna was steamy hot 90C. And you can cool down in a beautiful, private section of the river and watch a family of swans swimming further out. The vibe was very cozy and welcoming. The staff explained everything to us really well and made us feel at home. Too bad we found this on the last day of our trip, otherwise we’d go again!

I’m feeling so nourished after joining this amazing community offering. I arrived by myself after a long drive from Ōtautahi Christchurch and felt instantly welcomed and supported. I was invited as a presenter but I was keen to support the set up between online commitments. I was however encouraged to go walking up on kawarau maunga and flow with what my soul needed to prepare for the weekend. I experienced so many beautiful people and offerings. Soul nourishing kōrero especially in the sauna. ❤️🙏 I loved the stone fired pizza oven that coped with my broken base and laden toppings. The opening cacao ceremony flowed beautifully to shared kai for lunch. A beautiful flow of powerful music, breath work and movement then spaces for sharing and receiving wisdom and deep rest with healing vibrations. I loved creating art with Steph and the integration space for receiving support and sharing growth edges. The weekend felt divinely curated as a cocreation and I am super grateful for the crew and volunteers who made this possible.

The calibre of the facilitators at Wellfest 2026 was incredible. Lot's of meaningful experiences were had. Thanks Wellfest team for all your amazing work at putting this together :)

Wellfest ‘26 was beautiful! Lovely people coming together to celebrate and co create on this magical land… the trees, the sauna, the river!!! ✨
