Bánh Mì Workshop: Open to all VUW Staff & Students

A hands-on Vietnamese Bánh Mì workshop organized to celebrate the 81st National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. Participants will learn about the history and cultural significance of bánh mì, make Vietnamese chicken liver paté, egg yolk mayonnaise, pickled carrot and daikon, and assemble their own bánh mì. The workshop includes guidance from facilitator Yung Nguyen from I Love Vietfood, with a freshly made bánh mì to enjoy and a take-home recipe. The event promotes cultural community and cuisine, with proceeds supporting community initiatives.
