Very expensive
The Argonauta was genuinely the most amazing place to stay in boracay! The location was perfect for us as it’s a 2 minute walk down to the best beach on the island and to the crimson which is where my parents were staying! We had breakfast every morning with a view of the ocean and the beautiful garden (the pancakes and omelette were incredible). They also have an amazing terrace outside with a view of the most stunning sunsets every night! The owner was very accommodating and the staff were amazing! A special mention to Grace who was the absolute best host and kindest person💖 My family came over and we all ordered Filipino food from a local restaurant which grace sort out for us! She then set up a big table for us so that we could all have a lovely family meal together! She lit candles for us and made us the most incredible mango floats which were the best mango floats we’ve had in the whole of the Philippines! Grace really couldn’t have done more for us and anything we needed, she was there! This place was more of a home than a hotel and you have to stay here if you’re in boracay!!!
Not good
We felt very comfortable here. A small, peaceful oasis furnished with great attention to detail. The rooms are very clean, the bed comfortable, and one of Boracay's most beautiful bays is just a few steps away. The breakfast is plentiful and delicious. The entire team is incredibly friendly and makes you feel right at home. The walk to the beach can be a bit strenuous if you're not very mobile – but for us, it was perfectly fine and even a bit of a workout. The location in the north is wonderfully quiet, which we really appreciated. Even so, you can reach White Beach in about 10-15 minutes by tuk-tuk. Excellent value for money – highly recommended!
We stayed at Argonauta Boracay for one week. We chose this hotel for its quiet location and clean, calm sea, as White Beach was too crowded and noisy for us. The beach here is beautiful, not crowded, and the water is crystal clear every day. However, our room experience was mixed. We initially booked a Superior room, but it was very noisy in the mornings due to roosters and kitchen activity. The hotel kindly offered room changes during our stay. Sea-view rooms are quieter and have beautiful views, but nearby beachfront hotels often host events with loud music until around 11 PM. The two-storey villa was the most spacious and had the best view, though it had maintenance issues. The hotel description mentioning “new renovation” does not match reality — rooms would benefit from significant updates. Air conditioners are quite noisy, and there are limited power outlets. Breakfasts are tasty, but pricing was unclear. We misunderstood that “two dishes” meant per person, while it actually meant per room, which resulted in unexpected extra charges. Access to the beach requires using a steep staircase, which may be challenging for some guests. Tricycle prices to town vary widely. Overall, the hotel offers privacy, a peaceful atmosphere, and a wonderful beach, but there are maintenance issues and some service details that could be improved.
A quiet, discreet place, perfect for enjoying the view from above. The property is very well maintained, with excellent breakfasts and dinner service available upon request. Attentive and very helpful staff, highly recommended!
Such nice people working there. The place have several common areas with a good panoramic view of the sea. Apartment was nice and clean with a lot of different cold drinks and snacks available in the mini bar. Some advice for others, remember to let the staff know what you want for breakfast. If you walk to the nearest beach, just know that the path leading there is a little challenge if you wear sandals and are not used to hiking in sandals. The welcome we received was so nice and the cold towels is such a nice little treat.
