Sulu Sea Boutique Hotel

The hotel's location is excellent. I'd say it's about 50 meters from the beach. We stayed there because of its location. The breakfast was good. The rooms were clean. It's a bit far from the center. It's one of the most affordable and cleanest hotels you can stay at in Boracay.

A haven of peace! Perfect sleep in a large bed with high-quality linens (no roosters nearby, no motorbikes thanks to the dead-end street). Rooms are spacious, have a refrigerator, and in addition to air conditioning (the only noise at night), a ceiling fan. The bathroom has high-quality towels, a shower curtain (a rarity in Asia), and a small window. Perfect sunsets can be enjoyed from the front rooms or the shared hallway. Excellent value for money. Daily cleaning is available. The hotel staff is friendly and always helpful. The beach isn't as crowded as others, and you'll discover many species of fish while snorkeling (fewer corals). Three friendly dogs are part of the staff. Cons: It's somewhat remote, and there are significantly fewer restaurants, but if you're open to trying the local cuisine, you'll find a delicious selection. It would be great if the hotel had drinking water fountains (but nearby, less than a 5-6 minute walk, there's even a professional filling station where you can fill 5-liter containers or more for just a few pesos). A large supermarket is a 15-minute walk uphill. However, there are also three-wheeled vehicles waiting just a few meters from the hotel.

Our wonderful vacation in the Philippines has come to an end. One of the most wonderful places we stayed was the Sulu Sea Hotel in Boracay. We stayed there for nine days. We spent a long time choosing a hotel on this island, and we didn't regret staying here at all. The cozy house is located a two-minute walk from one of the most beautiful beaches, Diniwid Beach. Incidentally, we liked it better than the much-vaunted White Beach. It's always crowded there, but here it's quiet and peaceful. There are two wonderful, delicious restaurants on the beach where you can have lunch or dinner. We had breakfast included. It was delicious and filling! You can choose from ten menu options, and you can also choose coffee or tea. We usually had an omelet with bacon. Fruit was included with breakfast every day. I'd like to highlight the hotel's convenient location – less than a kilometer down the road from various shops, small cafes, and simple stalls selling everything you need is the huge City Mall supermarket. You can buy literally everything there at reasonable prices, just like from the street vendors. We always bought delicious ice cream there in the evening for 20 pesos. And at a small street bakery, we bought delicious buns for 5 pesos with our tea. The selection was so vast, it was overwhelming. The hostess was responsive and kind, and you could turn to her for any assistance! The friendly staff was always smiling and ready to help with any problem. I ran out of SIM card data, and the guys at reception helped me refill it without any problem. They were always accommodating to any request. The house has three sweet dogs who consider you friends from the moment you meet them. We booked a room with a balcony, which was incredibly spacious and cozy. The bed was large and comfortable, with a fan above it. We tried not to use the air conditioning. A huge thank you to the hotel, the hostess, and the staff for a wonderful time here. Everything was perfect!

Excellent hotel. Everything is clean and tidy. There are rooms of different levels. Overall, the hotel deserves a 5. There were no insects. We stayed for 3 days. The room has everything for a wonderful stay. The bed deserves a 10.)))).

First and foremost, I'd like to point out that the location is simply perfect: just a minute's walk from the beach, where you can enjoy white sand and clear water. At the same time, the hotel is located in a quiet and secluded area, creating a sense of privacy and tranquility. No one bothers you, so you can completely relax and enjoy your vacation. The hotel grounds are small, but clean, well-maintained, and very cozy. There's a rooftop terrace where you can watch the sunset. Near the hotel, there are two restaurants and a coffee shop where you can enjoy a delicious meal or a coffee. If you need a supermarket, currency exchange, or pharmacy, the shopping center is just a 10-15-minute walk away. I'd also like to mention the hotel staff—they are truly friendly, helpful, and always ready to help. There are also wonderful dogs living on the property, very sweet ☺️ Overall, the Sulu Sea Boutique Hotel is an excellent choice for those who value comfort, privacy, and proximity to the beach. I would definitely come back again!

Pros: - friendly polite staff - calm sleep, no noise or parties - lovely dogs - huge accommodation - great restaurant (Dinibeach) nearby - less crowded beach - okay breakfast Cons: - it's secluded, not much around, be ready to pay 200-300php for a trip to dmall area or long walks - smell of urine in bathroom - shower door was incredibly hard to use with terrible squeaky noise - water dripping from the ceiling to a kitchen floor in rain quite a lot - wardrobe was not useful - one door doesn't open, not even one hanger. - only one tiny round table inside of the bedroom. For a big room like that it's better to have some shelving units or at least one low table. Overall, it's okay for the money.

I love the place

What a find. Just a stones throw from a white sandy beach, crystal clear water, and a few chilled out bars. Greeted with a warm welcome, easy book in, and shown to our room, which is spacious, very clean, comfortable bed and with a great view It's about a 15 mins tuk-tuk ride ($pd300). 15 walk to main street, local beach about 1 min. Would recommend it as it's a friendly, clean gem of a location.

We fondly remember the six weeks we spent at the Sulu Sea Boutique Hotel in Boracay from February to March 2024. The hotel is located just steps from the beach in a very peaceful setting. Our room was beautifully furnished, spacious, and clean, with a sea view. From the room's generous terrace, we enjoyed the sunset every evening. The room featured a large and comfortable bed, clean white linens, and towels. The staff was always available and helpful. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an unforgettable vacation in Boracay.

The hotel and location couldn't have been any better. What caught my attention was the reviews saying it was a quiet and peaceful area, just a short walk to a beautiful beach. Was only a very short walk between the hotel and city mall for me, which was very good. Unfortunately the boss woman at the hotel was extremely rude, arrogant, ignorant, disrespectful and unprofessional.
