A hidden gem in a center or a busy area. Once you are inside the area feels like you’ve been transported to a province. Will definitely visit again. Highly recommended if you need to breathe on a busy day.

need a break from the city, while in the city?! i found the perf lush lil’ nook of an oasis for your next R&R. @47.silong is located in the heart of Loyola Heights, QC and it cloaks cozy cabana-style accommodations w/ abundant verdant greens, great to slow things down and just enjoy nature solely or w/ family & friends. you’ll appreciate the sun whilst bathing in the pools, the fresh air brought about by the surrounding flora, a taste of local flavor w/ their complimentary breakfast or a unique stay close to nature when you settle in their overnight tents. whether lounge for the day, dwell for the night or celebrate a momentous event/gathering, Silong: The Modern Bahay Kubo is “the” space for your city staycation.

Review for Silong, Katipunan First time ko ma-experience ang ganitong setup in the Metro — Silong honestly feels like a quick escape to Tanay without the long drive. Nature vibes are strong here: trees, fresh air, and that “hindi ako nasa Manila” feeling that we all desperately need. Booking and Pre-Arrival: Props to the online team — super accommodating sila. All my random questions (and follow-ups) were answered patiently. Heads-up lang: they mentioned na limited yung in-house food options, but you can head out to eat. Kung gusto mong magdala ng own food, prepare ₱750 per cabana para sa corkage fee — which, honestly, medyo steep, but at least clear sila upfront. The Place Itself: Chef’s kiss. Ambiance-wise, you’ll feel like you’ve teleported outside the Metro. The pool isn’t Olympic-sized (so manage expectations), but it gets the job done for a quick dip and chill moment. The cabanas and stay areas? Cozy, clean, and aesthetically on point. Perfect for the “I need peace but I can’t take a leave” crowd. Experience: Now, real talk — service on-site was a mixed bag. The ate at the front desk? 50/50. She’s nice, but there's definitely room for growth in the customer service department — probing skills, clarity, being proactive, those little things that make or break a guest's stay. She’s good, but not yet great. About the complimentary breakfast: my mom specifically asked for sunny-side-up eggs — the front desk acknowledged it (or so we thought). Breakfast comes in and surprise, surprise: all scrambled. Mom asked nicely if it could be changed, but apparently, the policy is that complimentary eggs are scrambled by default — no special requests. Cool, but maybe mention that upfront? Saves everyone from the awkward scramble (pun intended). Another nitpick: no heads-up if the breakfast was ready — we kinda had to guess and ask around. It’s the little communication gaps like this that could be improved. A simple “Hey, breakfast is ready” or clear kitchen policies would level up the experience big time. Other Good Stuff: They have an ATM onsite — always a win kung cashless ka bigla. Plus, the flexibility to go out and eat somewhere else gives you freedom (especially kung medyo namamahalan ka sa corkage fee). Final Thoughts: Silong is a hidden gem if you’re craving nature without the hassle. Place is solid, vibe is 10/10, but the service still has room to catch up with the beautiful surroundings. A bit more polish in communication — both online and in person — would turn this into a powerhouse staycation spot. Would I recommend it? Definitely — just manage your expectations. Bring your chill, and maybe, your own sunny-side-up eggs too.
